Does your puppy play in the water dish?
 
Pippin is 12 weeks old and yesterday he started playing in the water dish. I'm talking about both front paws in the dish splashing around. I keep putting the bowl up on the counter for a while, but I have to put it back down for my other animals. This is the third time it's happened today. I've never had a dog that did this.

Funny you should say this. We were talking about this the other day. Here's another thread about it. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=101960 It's a common problem, so it sounds like you might as well figure out you want to deal with it. :D Someone brave with money to burn needs to buy the bowl we were looking at and see if it works. Little Bit won't do it for me. :p

Huh? :scratchhe As I recall, you were going to do that! :sidesplt: :laugh:

But I did buy the Water Buddy water bottles and got them today. They are great!! No leaks!!! The girls caught on really quick, too! I haven't tried the one for the boys yet. (They are separated right now because Pippin is in heat again).

I'm glad that I don't have any with that habit. Although the big dogs drool it out all over the place which seems worse LOL

Thanks for attaching the other thread. I don't know how I missed that one. Here I thought this was unusual behavior. I've always had medium to large sized dogs so maybe they just couldn't fit in the dish. lol
