I am torn.. This girl is sooo cute 2 Attachment(s) Ok so i am looking for a little friend for ritzy I am leaning more towards a male darker preferred, but, this ad was up in a city about 4 hours away She is almost 5 month and claims she is 3 1/2 lbs. I LOVE the ears BUT I wonder if she is correct about the weight? They both look rather large. I called and she is pretty set that they are both under 4 lbs. I am not especially looking for a tiny one but ritz is small and I want him to be able to play with whomever I choose, I really dont want to drive the 4 hours to find they are 7 lbs at 5 mo as that would mean that they will be much bigger than ritz. What do you think do they both look big? LOVE the ears LOL |
I think they look big because of the way they are being held up and their hair. They are adorable, which one is the girl you like? |
They don't look that big for me...somewhere around 4lbs is probably about right...a lot of that looks like fluffy hair. They're cute. You can always have her take a picture of them on a scale |

Maybe aske her to send you a pic with your name on it and next to a soda can or something for size reference? |
I think they could be the size she is saying, when I take pics of max my friend always says he looks so much bigger than 3 pounds and I know he is 3 pounds. sometimes with pictures you dont get the true effect of size. :) |
Pics can fool us, my girls look bigger in pictures then what they are, a friend asked me what size they clothing they take, when i told her, she said, she thought they were bigger. I would like mentioned above, ask her to mail you a pic of only her in it, taken from the side. Both those babies are precious, i can see why you are torn. |
My girl is not quite six months old and looks about the same size. she weighs 3.2 and her estimated adult weight is four and a half pounds. I think a boy and girl would get a long much better. Fritz is my only boy, and all 3 of my girls get along great with him, yet the girls tend to get a little witchy with eachother. As far as the picture, they always look bigger in the pictures than they really are. Now Fritz is around 6 lbs. and Haley(the big yorkie is 14 lbs), and they get along great.. |
I like them both but, I really like the girl in the one pic that has her ears up. BOth of their ears are up but in the one pic only 1 has their ears up. I like her features alot. I guess I will have to make and appt to see them. They are both very cute and either one would do. LOL...or both thanks! Bon |
Dee... Sugarsmom. he is a doll. I can only hope she is that pretty in person. I hope that it is just the angle of the picture. Ritz just always looked so small that I thought these guys should look smaller. I guess if they are I can look as some others while I am there. Bonnie |
Aren't those puppies in Salt Lake City? Perhaps myself or Amber can run by and look at them for you:) Amber's babies are tiny so she would be better at figuring out weights - I'm a softie, I'll look at them and tell you to come get both - LOL! |
Ooh that would be a great idea I never thought of that? I would love love it if someone could go look at them as I hate driving anyway! Yes, she says they are in SLC and seems really nice but, Still wondering about them. Kind of hoping they are NOT what I am looking for LOL But they are sure cute in pictures . PM me if any of you can go look at them and I will give you her phone number. I am jsut not sure why it has taken so long for her to sell them? Bon |
I don't think they really look all that big. I can understand though that you wouldn't want to waste the drive over there. Ask if it's OK for you to call and talk w/ the vet for a reference (which any breeder should agree too). The vet should have their weights on record. This could actually provide you good info in other areas that you'll need to check into anyway.:) |
uurrgh I wish I were closer. She has a very heavy accent and she cant understand me much nor can I understand all of what she says. If it was meant to be it will happen if not... on to the next obsession LOL |
