Fabulous Idea I think this idea is great we would be there for sure i would like to see it in a more centralized location like maybe chicago or something. Go figure being from oklahoma i dont like huge cities give me miles and miles of land and i am happy. |

I think its a great idea, but I honestly probably wouldn't go unless it were in driving distance (like 3 hours or less). You guys should come to me :) The convention capitol of the world... Anyway, it needs to be close(like a short cab ride distance) to an airport and in a place that has public transportation for sure. Just thinking logically :) |

I vote for Chicago because it is centrally located between all of us. It also has many places and things to do for everyone. If it were in chicago i would be more than willing to open my home to some YT members to stay. I have more than enough room and very well socialized dogs. |
I would love ONE big convention, but I think a lot of smaller regional ones would work too. We could do them all on the same day and share pics. We could do the smaller ones in our individual areas first and then the BIG one later next year so we have time to plan and all. I would be willing to travel for the BIG convention and I would go wherever the "planners" decide is the best location. I really hope this happens! |
That sounds like a lot of fun, but I don't know if I would be able to go. I wish I could though! If it was near Naples, Florida in November 2006 I could go. LOL! That's where and when I am going to FL! Or if it was anywhere near Cleveland, Ohio. He he he! :D |
That would be so much fun! I'd go. I know that they have one on my Sugar Glider board every year. They get a few hotels and everyone stays around the same spot. They also have a few "speakers" and "boutiques" (people with online stores set up and sell a little), of course food, and LOTS of hanging out talking. I think if you made it in a year and really organized it and got a good place for all of us to stay we could save up money and really do it. SOUNDS LIKE FUN! I kind of vote Chicago too. It seemes really central. :D |
I would definately go if it was in Chicago! I looooooovvvvveee Chicago and so does my family. It would be a great excuse to go back! |
