I see dead people... Does anyone elses dog go crazy barking and running around to nothing? I'd swear Tanks sees dead people. I can be quiet with nothing happening and he'll jump off the couch and corner the wall barking like its an intruder, but no ones there. |
That is scary!!!!! No my girl's don't do that. Thank Goodness:D |
I know this isn't funny to you but I couldn't help but giggle!!! Because if Buddy did that I would xxxxx myself!!! That would scare me to death!!!!!!!!!!    |
No but my mother in law has a dog that does that. She growls and barks down the hall when no one is there. She swears there are ghosts in the house. I have never seen anything. |
Riley does this alot at my boyfriend's house. He will just stand there and start barking and look up at the ceiling. He only does it in the family room. Its kinda weird. Lol. |
oye. i hope maggie never does that!!!!!!!!!! |
Tino does that sometimes...especially night when my husband, I and Lola are sound asleep in bed. It scares me everytime because he likes being "Mommy's little protector"...but what is he protecting us from??? I don't investigate...I usually hide under the covers!!! EEEK! |
That's strange! Marty has only done this once and it really freaked me out. We were at a friend's house and he WENT CRAZY barking at nothing and when I picked him up he was rigid and shaking all over! Afterwards, our friend told us that his family, ever since his grandmother first bought the house, has thought that it was haunted. I told him I would never watch a scary movie there. lol |
Koda will do this late at night sometimes. We live out in the country and it's really dark at night. He will jump up suddenly at crazy barking at the front or back door. It really creeps me out cause I think of some nut case being out there being able to see in but me not able to see them out there:eek: EEEK! I always tell myself "it's just a skunk, opossum, deer or something"! He did it for so long one night I finally woke my husband up and made him go out and look. Guess what, it was a skunk! When I pick him up to calm him down he will be so persistent to look at whichever door he is barking at, and he will do a low nervous growl. UGHHH I hate it! Your not alone! They say animals can sense spirits and such. Who really knows;) |
I don't have a Yorkie yet, but my cat sometimes stares up at something. But I've thought my house was haunted, so I guess she's seeing something I can't. :D Good thing she doesn't hiss or anything because that would be very unsettling. |
Could it could be a bug or a little critter (aka mouse) that you can't see? Or some animal outside that he can sense? I had a friend on a dachshund list I was on that said her dachshunds would bark at moth farts. LOL |
omg yes Sophie does that sometimes! I swear she sees things. Lately she hasn't done it, except today for like 2 seconds but i think it's cause she saw a shadow from the car lights outside, sometimes they show up on my wall as cars go by. One time though when i first got her she was barking all day at spots in my room. Next to my bed she would bark at the floor and shake and be scared to go there, it made me think it was my dead dog Charlie. I was like aww you met Charlie, don't worry, he's friendly:) |

That's scary! That's like my bro's place. He lives in a condo and it's pitch black at night, he can't see out but ppl can prob. see in. I always tell my bro's girl to shut the windows cause now they have a newborn baby and she's there alone w/ the baby when my brother works at night. |
I don't have my puppy yet but my great aunt is somewhat of a ghost hunter and her dog is always barking at nothing!!there isnt nothing for him to bark at since she lives in a cabin in the middle of nowhere...i thought it was normal... ne way then one night she took out her camera and took a whole bunch of pics and there were orbs in most of them...she thinks they are spirits or energy(not sure) maybe he does see dead people lol jk:p |

omg!!! my maltese does the same thing :eek:one time she scared me I was on the computer home alone cause i didn't want to go to the store that day:rolleyes: and she busts out running down the hall way barking it was a bark I had never heard her do before:eek: so I grab anything and go to look in every room and nothing was there so i was like it's ok snow everything fine then she stops lays down then gets up and does it again only this time she does come back to get me:eek: i'm like where did she go all of sudden i hear this big bang:thumbdown i'm like almost in tears thinking shes hurt or something:( shes siting there in the bathroom looking around a little scared but the strange thing about it is i closed that door:questione i was so freaked out I kept making up excusing in my head thinking I may have left it open a little by acciddent:confuse2: :lol tears  |
Chip just did that! I couldn't sleep so I was in the kitchen cleaning up and he just started barking, I am assuming it was because something was out side since was at the top of the stairs looking out the window. Then when I came down to the computer he starts barking again, and he got to the point of going up to his bed in the living room to I guess keep an eye on things. |
Yes Cody does that late at night.. We're on the couch watching t.v. I've closed the blinds and locked the door. it's all quiet. and he starts barking hystericaly and i peep out the blinds and there's nothing there. creepy like out of a scary movie. lol he barks at the wind LOL |
My labs used to do that when they were outside, After one of our labs passed away, (he was the alpha male) the other male we had would start running around like something was chasing him, he would bark and the hair would stand up, and my other lab would just be standing there looking at him like he lost his mind. So, I do believe that pets can feel things that we can't, and truly believe that when a pet passes they are always around. |
