Dena, big congrats. I hope she arrives tonight for you:) She is a beautiful little girl. She looks so much like my Lilly. Well, except Lilly's hair hasn't come in as nice as your girls yet. We got Lilly a couple of months ago from rescue. She was 13 weeks old and was pretty sick when she came into rescue. Thankfully, she's healthy now and hopefully her hair will start to come in fuller. She's small like your little one too. Lilly is just about the same age (6 months) and she weighs just a bit more at 3 lbs. I cannot wait to see her at home snaps. Again, congrats.

I just checked the flight status. Baby Gracie is on the plane and it is currently taxiing its way to the runway- she is TAKING OFF in just a few moments---hang on tight Gracie!!!! Last time- almost home, about ONE more hour! Why do I keep crying??????

Oh wow... how emotional. I'm glad that Gracie will be home soon and travel time will be over. I can't wait to see her and watch her grow

The plane landed at 10:51, so I am guessing that since the animals are the first ones off that hopefully by now they have met! Yay! I am going to call Dena now just to keep myself from exploding--I hope she thinks she's cute ;o)

We're home!!!!! I think everyone's settled in for the night, so I'm going to post some homecoming pictures in just a sec....

Gracie is adorable.... oh that face!! - - She HATES Natalie :( But maybe tomorrow will be better... she's had a longgggg, scary day... so we'll see....

I'm glad she made it safely. I'd just give them some time. Gracie's had a long, stressful day. Just introduce them slowly...they may hate each other at first but with time I'm sure they'll be the best of friends.

:) Glad your home safely with your new baby. I am living vicariously through you until I get my baby (this weekend hopefully). Can't wait to see them pics, I bet Gracie is going to sleep good tonight after all that travel

Oh man, apparently Gracie is rebelling and attacked her new sister! This sucks! At least I can sleep knowing she is home and safe and being loved on by her people. We all know things take time with animals and though I am SHOCKED and in complete DISBELIEF that Gracie acted aggressively, I can only sympathize with what she went through today. She is a true sweetheart- at least here in Illinois :o) I am hopeful she will be fine. She came to our home from the time she was barely able to stand up on her own without tipping over,and she was quite young for her breed to be released, so in a way she truly was a member of this family, knowing very little else by the way of life, and is probably wondering where in the heck one of us was, human or dog, when she got out of her kennel. She is a super smart dog, right now she's just trying to defend herself however she can, let's just pray that she takes to Natalie and calms down to be the very well socialized dog I bragged so highly about- I am soooooooooo relieved she made it safely, what a longgggggg evening this was for us all. Cant wait to hear how this story unfolds. it is beginning to feel like a reality series or something.
