I thought I was just going crazy...I would swear that I had read a post but then I couldn't find it again but now I am thinking that it just got moved to another section! Thanks!

I'm bumping this up - because in the last week or so it has just been ridiculous the number of threads started in General Discussion that belonged in a different forum.

Last night, I decided to search for the threads with the lowest posts, there are pages, and pages of threads that have ZERO replies - while some of those are so old, there are others that are getting lost. In large part because everything seems to get posted in General and pushes posts to the back.

I spent a couple hrs bumping up threads last night that had btwn 0-2 replies. I got the nicest PM from someone because I asked for an update to a post that had only had one reply. So lets look for those too. And try to think before we start a new thread :)

really so many threads get lost because people don't post in the right section, I know a lot of times it's newbies who really don't know any better. I wish there was a better to teach people how to do this.

I also know that some people think if they post anywhere but General Discussion we will miss their post/or question. But for those of us that use the New Posts button, we see everything new - it doesn't matter which forum it is in.

I've seen tons of food questions lately in General & people posting pictures that belong in the Picture section and folks posting things that belong in Off Topic in general................. :confused:

I thought we were here to have fun and communicate with other yorkie owner's. I might not have a "HIGH IQ", but certainly appreciate your advise. It can be difficult for new members to figure it all out, I am not new and learn something everyday.:confused:

Aww Im sorry you feel this is stupied .....

I think its a great idea because the sections are there for a reason and we all need to utilize them for their purpose.

If we are utilizing them for their true purpose then threads will not get overlooked and get the answers they need.

I am so sorry, had a bad day yesterday and I didn't realize the time and effort that is put into this site and I love it. Been a member for a long time too, it took me a long time to figure out everything.

I posted this one other time but thought I would suggest it again, especially since we have so many new people and as a reminder to those of us that aren't new...

Maybe it would be a good idea for everyone to print off the list in post #1 and keep it right by the computer so before someone starts a new thread they could check the list to make sure they are posting in the proper section. Just a thought.
