hmmm....so you are all telling me that it is not just maggie that is STUBBORN and acts like she has bricks tying her down when i say "maggie...here"

but when i mention "treats" she comes running like those bricks turned into rockets????

Boy does this sound familiar!!! Heck, I even catch myself spelling cheese in front of her and dang, if she don't act like she knows what I am spelling!

Seriously though, it would be great if they would come when called....they are fearless and don't realize that a big dog could grab them up and kill them. :(

The best way I've discovered to get Sugar to come to me is to call another animal over to be petted. If I start to pet someone else Sugar speeds into my lap. She thinks she's the only one I should be loving on. It's kind of funny though, my cat comes when called more often than Sugar does. I try to convince Sugar that she should come more often than my cat does. She doesn't agree.

maggie is like that if i start to give my cocker love. she gets sooooo jealous.

Yes, Jeanie too.......if I pet the cat, she jumps up and starts to bark at her....poor Mocha. Hardly gets any mommy time since the little dog came in :) Cats seem to be ok with it though.
