Getting pictures made for Xmas cards!! Well this Christmas I will not be able to go home to see my family, so I've decided to get pictures made and mail them out with xmas cards. The problem is that I want Riley to be in the picture also and most places will not photograph him because hes a dog. I've been to Walmart and a few places in the mall. They've all said no. :-( I know I could go to a professional photograph who has a studio, but I'm pretty sure he would be very pricey. Does anyone know where I could get a photo of Riley taken? TIA! |
I'm a long way from you, Maryland, but in our area the local pet stores always have a photographer come in around now to have holiday pictures taken. They always have "packages" available and some of them actually make the cards with the pictures on them. Both our Pet Smart and Superpetz do this. They'll do the dogs (or cats, or whatever you want) alone or as a family portrait with the whole family. They usually have a "Santa" there also so the babies can have the picture done with Santa if you want. These photographers obviously have worked with animals before, because I have found them to be quite good. Good luck! Hope you find somewhere to do them for you. |
do you mean a family picture or just Riley? We are doing the same thing but with me, my bf, and Lily. I am just decorating the fireplace and having a little family pic there and getting them done on cards hehe. Anyway, in the malls near me there is a photo place called "Picture People" and I know they do pets. My sisters and I got a portrait done and it wasn't too expensive. Call local dog stores and ask if they have anything going on for the holidays. A lot of the stores by me have photographers comr and take pictures of the dog and w/ family members as well. But me it ranges from $10-$20. |

check out petsmart. I took picture with chloe and my bf couple months ago. not all petsmart could take picture, so check out one with Petsmart Hotel...good luck!! |

do you have an art school in your area? I know around here many of the art student will do stuff for a very small fee, plus the cost of film and developing, it gives them a chance to add something to their portfolio. |
