Okay, here's the thing.... and then I'll shush.... but, I just feel like I need to say it. Now, right off the bat, don't get me wrong here.... because Sandy (MYRUBY) has been AMAZING to deal with and it's clear she has a true love and concern for little Gracie and has her very best interest at heart.... So..... as I said.... I DO understand your point and what you are trying to do by being protective and tryin' to help folks out .... BUT..... (and maybe this is silly) - - it's not as though Sandy is a long time, well known member here.... Yes, she joined in... oh, I don't know... February or March of this year... and I only recently found this wonderful source in October... And, Sandy had only posted ONE time... (maybe twice) before putting little Gracie up for adoption in the current thread. I have communicated continuously since the day I joined - and it should be quite easy for anyone to at least get a good idea of the type of person I am, the way I care for my animals and my intentions with regards to bringing this baby home. My question is........ (well, first a comment) - Breeders/Sellers are certainly not the ONLY folks "getting burned" when it comes to the purchase of puppies sight unseen via the internet.... there are THOUSANDS of horror stories relating to unhealthy pups being received from "puppy millers" and just bad breeders in general.... so back to my question..... Under the circumstances.... why did you not come to ME with a "warning" of what to watch for, beware of or with tips for purchasing a pup over the internet??? Not that I'm not already aware of all this... because I am.... but it seems to me that if you were truly trying to HELP - you might attempt to assist one who is a recognized member of the group, who you have loads of "information" (with regards to daily posts, topics, etc.) about - (if you took the time to acknowledge it) - rather than someone who just seemingly "popped up out of the blue" to re-home a pup they had purchased from someone else. Again..... do NOT take this as any kind of "attack" on you - or ill statement against a new and fairly unknown member (Sandy) - because I will say again, she has been WONDERFUL!! But the fact remains.... I was quite offended by your actions... and still do not feel that you had the best of intentions.... That having been said........ this is done as far as I'm concerned..... I have no ill will against ANYONE and can say without hesitation, that NO ONE can "rain on my parade" at this point!! We are TOOOOOOOO HAPPYYYYY to be getting our new babyyyyyyyyy!!! So.... done, done, done....... Admin, please close this thread. :) TY |

wow..i am speechless..can we just be happy that the baby girl has a wonderful home. i think we should all be happy that gracie is with loving family. |
Yay for Natalie and her whole familY! I am so happy that things worked out the way they did, I have never done this before and was afraid of shipping and therefore wanted some communication and history, as much as I could -anyway, and though Dena is new here at YT, I got a true feeling of someone crazy about their dogs, especially her little yorkie. Anyone out there who has rehomed a yorkie, or any dog or animal for that matter, knows it is a scary thing and of course a part of me is sad and nervous and all, but I am hopeful given Dena's kind heart and compassion for her dogs that I will get to see my little Gracie (or whatever her name becomes, though she really responds to "Gracie" perfectly--though I am biased as I picked her name :o) grow up and be HAPPY and LOVED in a matter which I know she deserves. I have even offered to purchase her back for the full amount paid in the event that it does not work out in her home, shipping and all, Gracie's quality of life is important to me and I will always stand behind her. I have read posts on this forum for many many many months and absorbed a fabulous amount of information, but didnt bother to post because I use it as an information source and not a social circle. I just like to sit on the sidelines and watch, rather than be a part of discussions, just how I roll I guess!! Anyway, a HUGE thank you to all of you who expressed an interest in Gracie, I am a firm believer in that things happen for a reason and I have a good feeling about this transaction and I hope you all will too!! Enjoy the postings on her, she is a special pup, I know I will be browsing around here more, just to check on my little girl. Have a great night everyone :O) ***Keep some prayers aside for little Gracie as she makes her journey home, I hate airplanes so this is going to make me cry cry cry like a baby when I send her off, I am actually starting to cry now****Thanks everyone!!!!!!! |
