Does anyone else notice that the picture of the yorkie next to the "YorkieTalk.com" headline is reallllllllllllllllllllly scary looking? My boyfriend pointed that out to me last night and I was like, I never noticed but you're right. There are so many cute pictures and we need a better one than that scary one. What do you guys think?

I think it is Yoda...he just has a VERY silky coat alas the eyes!!! I think he is very handsome!!!

That can't be yoda because Yoda is too cute. That has to be another picture. The green eyes are scary in the picture. FastEddie, please don't get offended if that is Yoda. I just think that picture doesn't do our cute babies any justice. I'm just making an observation hopefully without offending anyone. I guess I was just curious. Yoda is VERY beautiful but that picture doesn't do him the justice he deserves!

LOL that was pretty funny, but YODA is a cutie pie..I see what you guys mean by the cryptonite colored eyes though. I just thought the camera's glare made that effect, sometimes Tiny Baci's eyes are blue but sometimes they are another color. :D

It's probably the glare from the camera. Sometimes Katie's eyes look green in pictures! ;)

So I'm wearing a shirt with Yoda on it when I wear my Yorkietalk.com shirt?

Yes its the glare... Tino's eyes glow red bc his coat is more cottony, but Bunny's eyes glow green like Yoda's bc her coat is silk. Its so hard to get that glare out if they are looking at the camera...

Dan, I love Yoda. He's a wonderful, adorable dog.

But yes, the glare is really kinda scary. We've got some gurus on this site...we should put up a better graphic, I totally agree.

I'm pretty sure that's Yoda - it looks just like Eddie's avatar. My Tuck has the same problem when I take pictures of him with a regular flash camera - a real green-eyed monster. I'm waiting for him to get that silky coat that supposedly comes with the green eyes - it feels awful cottony to me now - of course, I don't really have anything to judge against so we'll see...

Me too!!!!..Maximus' coat looks like a disaster 2 minutes after I brush it..lol..and he was jsut groomed..he has hair standin up every which way...lol..I can't wait for the silky...

:eek: Cookie's eyes glow yellow. What does that mean? I've never heard of the green eyes=silky coat and such. Where'd you guys hear that information?

Sorry gotta say this you can all hate me when I am done but I personally think that it was pretty rude to make a comment about the yorkie up top on our pages. We all know that FastEddie started this all so why would he not use Yoda on the pages?? I am not trying to make anyone mad but I think that there should be some serious appologies to FastEddie and Yoda. And the next time a comment like this pops into your head. Think about it before posting. :thumbup:


Sorry just had to tell it the way I see it. FastEddie is such a crucial part of this site and without him we would have nothing. Just something to think about before we insult.

1.) We all DON'T know that FastEddie started this and I didn't even know that is someone's baby
2.) I placed in my posting that I wasn't trying to offend anyone, and if that is Yoda, he is a beautiful dog and I've seen some really cute pictures of him without the glare.
3.) I am very grateful to FastEddie for this awesome forum and the fun times we have here, and I think it's great that Yoda is this forums team leader
4.) I was just talking about the camera glare, not the cutie pie doggie.
5.) We are free to post our opinions if we're not trying to be insulting which I wasn't. I think everyone's babies are adorable! :thumbup:

USUALLY...Green is Silky - RED - is cottony (Chanels do red and she IS cottony) I would think Yellow could be silky too ...and I've also seen Blue Eyes from the Camera Flash - I have lots of Pics of Chanel & Cheri with glowing eyes....

and yes - that IS Yoda.. who has been there a long time watching from above.

I think everyone's dog/puppy is absolutely adorable. Vainchick (Nobella) was not trying to be rude or offensive so please don't pick on her. Anyway, my Katie sometimes looks like a little alien in pics because her eyes look green (or yellow, I guess it depends on the lighting). I've been trying to post pictures of her and Codie but I'm having some trouble doing so. I'll keep working on it and hopefully get something up soon. I love looking at everyone else's babies - they're just too cute! :D

All I am saying is that you need to research things before they are said, and this was in plain site all of yesterday. I am sorry if you are finding me rude or if anyone else is but I personally would find what you said in your starting post insulting.

FastEddie is a wonderful person who made this all possible. And I think he is due an appology. I know that you dont feel that you have said anything wrong but........

That's great that you feel that the strong should protect the sweet, but no one is being attacked here. Just making observations that others agree with me on. I think Dan can fight his own battles, and he sounds like a great person, who has put in lots of time and energy putting this together. So if I've offended HIM, I would defintely apologize to HIM privately, without the need of a mediator. :thumbup:

I agree! I know that many of you weren't trying to be rude or offensive, but some of the things that were said are kind of insulting. FastEddie's Yoda is a gorgeous Yorkie, even if his eyes glow in a picture. All Yorkies eyes glow in some pictures! I think that the picture of Yoda at the top of the page is so cute even though his eyes glow. It basically represents all of our Yorkies! I agree that FastEddie and Yoda deserve an apology. FastEddie has done so much for this forum, incuding creating it! Please don't be mad that I am saying this. I just don't think we should say things that will insult others! JMHO :D
