Can dogs have ADD??? My puppy gets up and moves around the room once every 2 minutes. Then lies back down and continues to do the same thing (chew on her toy). It's kinda cute but...why does she do that? lol It's like she can't get comfortable (she even does this when I pick her up and put her next to me on the couch! forget sitting in my lap lol). Does anyone else's pup do it? |
I've wondered the same thing; Cocoa can't sit still very long either unless he is in my lap. If he is laying down somewhere he is constantly switching positions or moving. |
Puppy A.D.D. When you find out let me know I am convinced Diggy has full blown P.A.D.D. |
That's the way Vinnie is....i'm sincerely hoping it's just a puppy thing! He's always a Man on the Move! haha |
Yep, we call it "short attention span". When they are puppies its even worse, but they seem to have a longer attention span when it involves food. |

So when you they out grow this...I think maybe it is just Diggers personality.. every move he makes he is on 10! |
our chorkie has eather adha or ocd she wont stop playing fetch it really drives us crazy sometimes. we have to tell everyone not to throw the toy or she wont stop. she is 2 years old now and has already played enough for a life time lol. whe we try to ignore her she has like panic attacks and wimpers, cries, pants ,and paces |
Some never do, my cat finally calmed down at around 7, and Zippy did slightly around middle age. Zippy is 15 now and still a spaz though. |
my pup does this too and we thought he had fleas when we first got him because he didnt seem to relax and was always changing positions. he doesnt hae fleas but it still takes him a while to find a comfy spot to fall asleep. im hoping its just a puppy thing |
Simon's a lot like this, always on the move. And he's 4 :) |
