Time for a brother/sister? So it's been 3 months since I got Linus, and he is just THE best. I feel badly for him because he is home alone all day while I'm at work (a walker comes twice a day, but other than that, he's in his crate). I'm thinking about getting him a sibling, but I got really lucky with Linus, right off the bat he's slept in his crate all night and just sits there quitely in the morning looking at me and waiting for me to wake up :) He's also just getting the potty pad down. My question is, is having 2 yorkies twice the work? I'm sure it's twice the fun, but I'm worried that it will be too much or that I should wait a year? |
When i first got charlie, I felt the same way, I waited 1 month and got him a sister karleigh:) they have seperate crates, that way i didnt feel so bad leaving them, I say go for it:) he would love a playmate:) since then i have added joey & molly:p once again they are all in seperate crates:) good luck with your decision;) |
We had Koda for a whooping 1 mos before we decided it was crucial to add another one! Good luck! |
I waited almost a year to get my second...man I wish I would have got her sooner! I see how happy they both are! My retriever adores the both of them and plays oh so gently with the both of them. I wouldnt change a thing, except, maybe getting turbo a sibling sooner. |
Thanks! The general consensus seems to be -- what am I waiting for! I spoke with the breeder today, and she will have pups ready to come home next February. I think I'm going to go for it! |
