Have you heard of? Red River Kennels in texas. Ive never bought from anyone but a home oppsy person and dont know if this place is ok? |
Hmm...I'm not quite sure. The name does kind of sound familiar, but then again I'm not sure as I know there are some other places out there with the name "river" in them. Heck I'm sorry, I know I was no help, lol :( |
Hi! I was just looking at the website and noticed that they have a former stud for sale. I don't know if this is a normal practice but it seems kinda mean to me! He's 2 years old and very adorable and I'm sure he'll find a better home than that but it makes me think that these pups may be underloved/only seen as breeders- makes me suspicious that it could be a puppymill. Just my opinion though! |
site What do you see in this web site to make you think they are reputable and ethical? |
Im not really sure they are but Ive never got a puppy this way before. When I got Tank I ended up getting him from a BYB and not knowing it till after. I think is is not a BYB but it might be a mill. I worry they have so many and they are all small but I dont know if people who breed get into it that deeply and have so much. I just dont want to susport something bad, even if it means I need to wait on a baby. |
They sure do have a lot of puppies available  |
I Know of a lady down here who brokers Yorkies i went to her house when i was looking for a new baby at first i didn't relieze but when i did i got out of there as soon as possible because this is the place she gets them from. the puppies i have seen come from here and not very good quality and are all A.P.R.I Reg don't get one from this place please!!!!!!!!! here are some links to the dogs that are coming out of that place \http://www.ksl.com/?nid=218&ad=2059657&cat=&lpid= and all of them on this page http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=231&userid=127586 |

site There are so many things to comment on..and I do not want to take up the entire page...so I will pick the guarantee. You only have 48 hrs..to find out if you have purchased a healthy puppy..and if the vet finds something that can not be treated medically, you get another pup or refund, determined by the seller. Now, tell me how many vets have you ever meet who say they can not treat any condition they are presented with...people can take a 15 yt old, blind, deaf, kidney failing York to the vet and they will say "we can treat it"...you can treat everything, but at what cost to you? Breeder said they will not pay any vet bills... Bottom line, if a breeder does not give a one year health guarantee, read no further. ...no breeder should have to write and entire page to defend what they do... |
RUN don't walk RUN away from this breeder RUN RUN RUN |
OK Learning experience. It is NOT normal to have multiple pups, and only have a good health gaurentee. Im writing this down and will use it while looking. You guys are good. |

Would you be willing to travel up to Oklahoma? There is a breeder named Glenda Beavers that has Tsa La Gi and has GORGEOUS yorkies! www.yorkieshowdogs.com Someone told me that her yorkies range from the high hundreds to a few thousand. I'd e-mail her and ask. Or PM Mardelin. She used to live in Texas and I'm sure she could refer you to some great breeds |
