Help! Bella Is Eating My Floor I really need some suggestions:confused:. Bella is almost 5 months old. She is gated in the kitchen (a large area), with her crate, toys, food and water while we are at work and nobody is home. I don't lock her up because I feel bad:D . So, the past couple of weeks she has been digging and chewing holes in my lanoleum floor in the kitchen. I wish I had a video camera on her because I am stumped on how she is managing such a task! So far there are 3 nice size holes. I want to replace the floor, but I don't want her doing it again, so, do you helpful YTers have any suggestions, and maybe some reasoning on why she is doing it??? Thanks!! |
Make sure you leave her plenty toys, Some music might help (not proven) But I tried this with Koda and everyday I use to leave her my t-shirts, She might be feeling lonely and her way of expressing and keeping occupied it's by having the impulsive biting!!! Good Luck:aimeeyork |
Mine did the same thing in my bathroom a couple of yrs ago. Who knows why they do it but mine havent did it since then. |
My girl never chewed a thing. But my boy, now that's a different story. He would chew everything if I let him and he has a zillion toys. I've just learned to spray deodorant on everything. That keeps him from chewing. I just walk around the room and spray deodorant on edges of rugs, baseboards, closet doors, etc.lol:rolleyes: I had told myself if the deodorant didn't work I would go back to crate training. So it may be something you may want to consider when you get new floors. |
