Does anyone know... where I can find patterns to sew my own dresses for Crickett!! I am an avid seamstress, I could get a dress and take it apart and make some from that, but would be so much easier if they make patterns. Thanks for any help!!:) |

I am trying to looking. There was someone on here that told me where to get them on the internet. I am trying to find the info. |
I sure did not realize.. that Mccalls, Butterick, Simplicity and even Vogue had come out with patterns for pets. I used to work at Hancock Fabrics before we adopted our son and they didn't have such things then. Of course that has been 4 years ago. I am going to go and get some of these pattens, now I just can't wait until Crickett gets here so that I can get started on her some cute dresses. I am in the process of making her bedding and blankets. Of course it is pink University of Kentucky material. Thank you for your quick reply!!:) |

I just found that one also. I was looking under search never done that befoe. |
Wow!! Thanks!! That is a cool pattern. You could really do alot with that by adding tulle and embellishing or embroidering on the bodice. There could be several ways to use this pattern and it is FREE!! I love free stuff!! Thank you both so much!! |

Sizing pattern This free pattern if you have to make it larger or smaller I think you would do it on the folded side. But on the dress bodice would that change the placing of the leg hole |
In order to make it bigger or smaller you would have to adjust it all the way around. The difference in pattern sizes is only 1/4 to 1/2 in on all sewn sides. If you would need to make this particular dress bigger you would add on to each side of the bodice and to the fold and bottom of the skirt(in order for the skirt to be long enough). Measuring your dog and hold the pattern that you make to your dog to get the best fit. Good Luck, I have a hard time putting what I mean into words, it is just easier for me to show someone. ;) |
