Hmm.. he is pretty smart :) So Armani had surgery on friday. The sutures look good, and the incisions are healing. I only gave pain meds the day after and then stopped because he does not exhibit any pain. BUT he is laying around, being pampered. And I think he likes it. HE wont walk anywhere, not even to his pee pads, so I carry him, feed him in his new oversized bed that we got him. All he does is nap and chew on his flossies. SO I am freaking out thinkin he is not doing better. I decided to take him outside and let him lay around in the grass get some fresh air, what do u know? HE CAN WALK< RUN< PLAY, you name it he does it. I could even catch him for a good 15min. So we go back it, he goes to his little bed and is pitiful again, is he milking this or what >? LOL smart lil guy!!!! |
Awe, yorkies are very smart....I bet that is what he is doing; sounds like it to me. He may still feel bad but, not as bad as he is playing it off, lol. I love the name Armani by the way. |
Thank you :) I keep thinkin one day I will buy him something Armani :) |

Sounds to me like he's got it all figured out. He does seem pretty smart to me...and sneaky too!:p |
Glad to hear he is doing fine.. He's just a spoiled little furbaby. I say why not milk as far as it will go.:p |
He really hates the onsies, he keeps peeing on them lol. |
milking it Quote:
Oh, yes, Armani is milking it for all it's worth! I had a smooth collie years ago that hurt his leg and limped. I took him to the vet and it was only a slight muscle pull, but he got tons of affection and all of my attention. This went on for a couple of days and I saw him outside running and playing with my other dog with no limp, so I went out to congratulate him on being well. As soon as he saw me, he started limping again! He did it for a couple more days and then gave it up. They are very smart! |
Hahaha. I love that. Hmmmm...I should learn from these little ones. I wonder if I can get away from work, cooking, cleaning, etc. |
I was thinkin the same thing :) I am gonna start feeling sick and have my boyfriend wait on me :).. thats a long shot lol!!!!! |
