It's not just the dogs they're doing it on, they're doing it on match.com too..My sister is divorced, she's very pretty for her age, some guy said he lived about 2 hours from her, but, he was in Africa as he goes over there a few times a year to buy cloth and antiques..anyway, they started e-mailing back and forth, then one day, he tells her they've changed the government rules over there, and it was going to cost him $4000 to get his stuff out of there..She wrote back(figured right away it was a scam) and told him to leave the things there, he said they would be stollen..anyway, she played along with him, told him she could send $2000 but would have to have it back right away, as it was rent on her business..he said anything she could send would help..well, when he was wanting that money, he all of a sudden changed the way he was talking to her..all he wanted to know is when is the money coming..Well she finally got tired of playing the game and told him, good luck, you dont' know me, and my own family would never ask to borrow a dime..good luck on getting your money..the only thing she heard back was a blank you b...they think americans are so stupid and will send them money..wish they would/could catch the ones doing it and put them behind bars |

Scam Well, After reading this I believe its a scam. I was one of the ones that fell for it...Before I got Jack. We paid this guy 250.00 for a boy yorkie, Then they wanted us to get insurance and its was 350.00 and it went to Africia. Well they promised to have papers, blanket, crate, toys,. There were e-mails back and forth, one time we left a message to call us and gave him our number well he called my husband could not even understand him. He got out of him he was taking the dog to the airport. Long story short there was NO dog. All the money went (?) I got some of my money back it went through Western Union. I cried for days. My husband was so upset. He told me HE was going to get me a yorkie if it killed Him. Not, all the money but we found Jack locally. A scary thing was I had left a couple of messages at different places. Well one came back saying they knew me that I was the one who took the money back. That I was harassing them and they were going to tell All the breeders about me. (ha). I mailed them back and played dumb and told them I did not know what they were talking about. Not a word anymore. I have learned A Very Hard lesson. Love Cheryl:animal-pa |
