Toddlers and Yorkies I dont have any small kids but when little kids under 3 years old come by she barks at them. She either see's a small person and wants to play or just don't like them. This in not the first time this has happen with her. Anyone else??? |
I don't have any problem when my Grandkids come over. Dieter just goes and gets his toys and shares them with them. Sorry not much help |
I have an 11 month grand daughter. And we have not had any problems either. The boys love to play with her.....Brooklyn has just learned to walk and the new game is tag. They all love to play it... It is hilarious... Maybe your little one is just not used to young kids?????? |
My niece is 5 years old and Rockie is around her everyday and her 14 year old sister. He gets more inpatient and not want to play with my 5 year old niece really fast. The 14 year old he loves to play with. I always have thought it has something to do with my 5 years old nieces age:rolleyes: |
Roxy just barks at lil kid's. Maybe it's her way of saying hi. She see's they are small like her. Kid's that are 5 and up she is fine with. |
Chip loves kids, my niece even trades toys with him. Zippy on the other hand will lunge and attack at kids. |
OR Maybe she want's to play with them???? She barks and gets all excited |
Koda loves being around babies and kids in general, She is in love with our one month old niece:) |
Emma's scared of little kids... so she gets really shy and tries to stay away from them. She also doesn't like it when they chase her around, or take her toys away from her. She's great with kids older than 6 or so, and has been fine with little kids that know to respect her, her toys, and her space. Milli, on the other hand, would love to LICK children all day long if we let her. She likes to run at them and jump up on them because she's SO excited to meet them and play with them! It's funny because they're completely opposites when it comes to their feelings about kids. |
Maybe Roxy barks because she thinks they might play with her. She don't bark like she might be in harm or someone might hurt her. Maybe my li crazy girl wants to play. |
She is probably just excited, or scared or curious to see something 'different.' Kids look different, smell different, act different, sound different...probably just her way of recognizing that something is out of the ordinary.:) |
I think that she is EXCITED to look at lil people too. Maybe that barking is look at me I am small tooo!!!!! |
Both of my babies LOVE my daughters....I think them being raised around my girls has helped them to like kids. |
Mine are great with kids. |
