Are They All In Their Original Boxes? |
date??? Do you know when they were made??? thx |
Wow Thats Alot And A Great Price, Look For A Local Collector, When I Took My Barbies In They Appraised Them And Some Of Their Values Knocked My Socks Off, I Had A Japenese Barbie With A Small Crush In The Box And Shes Worth 265 Dollars And Im Trying To Sell Her For 20, But Anyway The Collector Said There Were Lots Of Local Collectors But You Have To Place An Ad Or Look Around For Them, And He Said Google Barbies Collectors Travel Dates, They Actually Have Barbie Conventions, And He Didnt Buy Barbies He Onyl Bought Coins And Cards And Such But Still Its A Good Chance. My Son Loves Nascar And Has Him Room Done In It But He Likes The Home Depot Guy And I Think Jeff Gordon I Think Its # 24, He Found These Cute Nascar Stockers They Call Them And They Are Like Fat Littel Cars With Cute Littel Rims, But They Are Hard To Find And Come By, But Those Are Newer Though, But Try Googleing A Local Collectors. |
We tried the collectors route when we first got them but had no luck. They just wanted a couple here and there but didn't want to pay anything for them. We sold a few on ebay and that was a pain. If someone buys a 1/64 scale, why would they think they should have received a large model. So we decided to try to sell it as one lump package and were just getting around to finding out of the area collectors when my husband died. Now, I just want to see them go to someone who will appreciate them and if they can make some $$ off the investment, then I am all for it. I just don't have the resources, time or the money to do it on my own. I had someone who was going to help me when we first moved back to PA, but he became so busy, there was no way he was going to be able to. So I am stuck. If I could get more for them, it would certainly help me out. Maybe I should say "Will sell to the highest bidder".:) Right now, I just want to sell them. So, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.:p (I do know how valuable the collection is - if you want to see the whole list, PM me your email) Oh, I will post a few pics as soon as I unpack them and yes they are all in their original containers. |
OK, I am going to try to download some pics. I've never done this so I don't know if it'll work:rolleyes: . |
OK, then, I would have had better luck performing brain surgery than I had downloading the pics. I lost them somewhere. At least I wouldn't have lost the brain.:D Still working on it. |
not sure what happened but it's been uploading the files for some time now. |
Now is says it the upload failed. |
See if someone on YT can help you put together a description of inventory etc, then maybe list it on Ebay. You could put a reserve for the minimum amount you'd like to get for them and then if the reserve isn't met then you try a different route. If it's met then great and if it's exceeded, wahoo even better. |
I thought about it, but since I have already offered it here it wouldn't be fair to those who have already asked about it. Especially since I put an asking price on it. Of course, people could bid on it here  :D . If I don't sell it here, then I will put it on ebay. I have the list made up already and am emailing it to those who asked about it now. Thank you for the suggestion, it may come to that. |
