She might be able to sell it on ebay faster. |
Unfortunately We bought a 20GB......thinking that my family would want it.....well, needless to say, we posted it on EBay and barely got our money back. Seems even the 60gb are going for not much more than the actual sales price.... Good luck selling yours....:D |
yeah especially when you can go to walmart righ tnow and buy one for what....599.00 |
Wow -- an extra $350.00 for standing in line -- good luck with that. |
I saw a store that had them yesterday in the mall. Guess the hype is already over on this one. |
I suppose. Personally I would not have spent 38 hours...lol.....in a tent, in the snow just to get anything, much less a toy. But she was trying to make some extra money to pay off a college loan. It's my understanding that the item is unavailable anywhere else until April 2007 - which she felt brought value to having one before the holidays. For the other posting about recouping her time - she also bought a game, etc so the system would have extra features so that cost more money. Also, I don't know about you but if I had to spend 38 hours in the elements just to buy something for someone else who might really want it - I don't think $7-$8 an hour for my time is that much to ask. Happy Holidays all. |
I do agree.. the hype has gone down a bit. And asking for time spend standing in line is ridiculous... The game is overpriced to begin with. but i do see her idea of trying to make money off of it to pay off some loans. EBAY would definitely be a good idea. Maybe Craigslist or Amazon.. or something like that might work. Plus if I were her mom, I wouldn't be doing the posting for her ;) make her do her own work |

I just check ebay for this earlier. Seems that the going price is anywhere from $250-500. Best of luck selling your item. Happy Holidays! |
Item Sold ITEM SOLD Thanks |
Did she get what she wanted out of it? |
The new nintendo wii at priced at 250 and its interattive feature make it harder to get than the PS3 and i'm not suprised at the 599 price its not even worth it..you might as well get an xbox 360 it has the same graphics for 150 dollars less. Thats why it hard to make a decent profit off the ps3. |
hmmm.. hubby wants one of these for xmas... .where can I find one? |
I'm glad you sold it..I hope you got what she was asking for. |
