Teething Can you guys name some toys out there that are good for getting puppy teeth loose in Izzy's mouth?? |
kongs are very chewy! they make a puppy size. (they even come in pink and blue) orka has a weird blue thing shaped like a large jack with a rope in it. edgar loved his, even after he tore the rope apart. |
Hanna loves the Flossies Spiral chew bones and Bully Sticks. She is to go into the Vet tomorrow and have 10 - 12 teeth pulled because they have not ever fallen out. She is 8 mos old today. |
Brody won't touch the kong and quickly lost interest in the bully sticks. He does _love_ his hoof. He also enjoys a little tug of war and fetch with his frog and lobster. They've all helped get rid of a few teeth. They were all .99 at either Target or PetSmart. His favorite teeth loosing toy is his sock. We got an old tube sock and put an empty paper roll in it. The end is tied in a not so he can't get the roll out. He plays endless tug of war with it. We call it his dog nip. LoL Our vet charges $18 a tooth if they pull it. We're planning on getting Brody neutered the first part of Sept. He'll be about 8mos then. We'll have any remaining baby teeth pulled while he's already under. So we're trying our best to help get rid of his baby teeth now. :) Good luck! |
My hand seems to be Gizmo's choice of chew toy. lol |
Petstages, they have there toys divided between Interacting, Teething, Soothing, and a few others. These toys are VERY durable, they are a little expensive, but I am using them through Dakota, since they lasted through Aubrey. |
Thanks everyone! Yeah, hah our hands have been through some wear and tear as well...We were going to have Izzy spayed this month but we decided to wait a little longer so we could get a good idea on if her baby teeth are going to come out. None of them have come out but she's only 5 months...do you think thats a good idea? I am looking into some more effective chew toys:) |
