Vid of Valentino playing fetch
 
I thought only retrievers or bigger dogs played fetch, but little did I know. Last night i wanted to teach him something anything at that, so i threw the rope and BAM, he brought it right back and weve been playing ever since. And a big plus it wears him out late at night so I can now sleep more lol. But here is the link, ( its on you tube )

Too cute - my Chanel is a great Fetch player - She'll hit my hand with the toy to get my attention and I have to throw it -

Cheri just grabs the toy and races away not to be seen again :D :D

lol, I want it to be where he grabs it and makes me play. Its what i always wanted to do. But he plays when he's up for it, just gotta make sure he pays attention to where I throw it.:animal-pa

This is tooo preciouse!!! Soooo cute!!! :wub: My Momiji doesn't bring back what I throw.... I'm trying to teach her to bring back to me so we can play longer....

That is so cute! How old is Valentino? We have been trying to teach Ludo how to fetch, but he just doesn't understand. He is only 11 weeks old though?? Maybe there is hope for him! :clapsmile :bravo:

hey thank you all, Valentino is 11 weeks old. It was really natural for him i guess you could say, we started playing " tug o war" and then i threw it and BAM it just happened. I hope Ludo gets the hang of it, he will but they get distracted easily, remember that lol:animal-pa

YAY my boyfriend taught Ludo how to fetch last night. I was so proud. You are right though he did it for awhile and then got bored and distracted! I got a video of it though so there is proof haha!

Now we just have to get the dang potty training thing down!:eek:

Try a small tennis ball -- Mattie is 16 wks and loves to fetch that. Plus I can throw it a little farther than his stuffed animals. He now sits and waits for it to bounce off the wall and roll back to him. Smart boy.
