I don't know of any websites on that specifically, but I did go a "google" search (www.google.com) for "make your own dog toys" and a few different things came up. Maybe try that, and see what you can find. |

Thanks for the tip |
Just an idea....it might be cheaper just to buy toys, I don't know. www.petedge.com carries toys so cheap and you can even find them on their clearance too, really, really cheap. I'm talking, under $1!!! I know Mojo's groomer has showed me how to make bows, but we never paid much attention....that might be a good place to ask and have it shown hands on. But you can google just about anything anymore and most of the time, you can find it for free. Good luck! |
What Jenn said! :yeahthat: Pet edge has the cheapest toys even some cheap little bows! and cheap little everythings! ha ha I ordered from there a lot and haven't had any problems i JUST got my car seat (it was on back order, and they were awesome because they kept updating me on the availabilty, so I never even had to wonder if they were going to forget to send it), and they shipped it sooo safely! I'm very happy with it! |
Thanks girls, I think I'm going to try that site right now.... we cannot have enough toys!! |

Simplicity and McCalls both have some doggie patterns that include some really cute doggie toys. |
.....and if you want to "step it up a bit" and make something more classy, check out the Vouge patterns. :D |

I go to the fabric store and look throught the pattern books. To make some of the very "bestest" doggie toys, you don't need a pattern. One of my favorites is a toy I made for a gift exchange a long time ago. I cut two hearts out of fleece and and put a squeeker in each. I covered a short piece of 1" wide elastic with fleece and sewed one heart to each end of the elastic. Very cute Very easy and the dogs LOVED it! You could do the same thing with a bone shape. You can go on line and find all sorts of goodies -- dog bone shapes shoe shapes, any simple design will do. :) The main thing here is to HAVE FUN! and be creative. Chances are even if the toy doesn't look exactly like you had in mind your furkid will love love love it. |
