My gracie seems so think she can catch the birds flying it is pretty funny to watch though! and she also likes to try and catch lizards! great entertainment! |
Yogi loves to chase Crickets Crickets Crickets! Its hysterical! They jump and her jumps and then he eats them. Its the torture before the feast:D Dori.....well she prego...she doesn't like to run alot as of the last week. Okay, This is fuuny and gross! My three are in it together. I live in Florida and we have lots of lizzards. In the pool screen room, the lizzards crawl on the screen. Lilly is the hunter, she finds them and then jumps at the screen until they fall to the ground. Then all three run after it, mostly Bell is the one to catch it. She then ends up killing it.:confused: (not sure if she means to or not, but she keeps dropping it and then catching it until its dead.) Then its Petey's turn, He brings the dead lizzard into my house. Sometimes to drop it off in their x-pen and sometimes I'm the luck one and he brings it in the bedroom to me!! ;) |
My two like to chase the light from my lazer level. I was hanging pictures a few days ago and noticed that they were going NUTS trying to catch the light...Off the floor, off the wall... You name it - That light is a must catch. Just too funny! :lol tears |

Kobe is really laid back and doesn't chase much. But, Kali is the opposite she loves to chase Kobe. And her favorite toy to chase is her monkey ball. |

Kacee likes to chase the flies when she sees them on the patio. Then she likes to chase birds out of her yard. She was just a few inches behind one yesterday!:eek: When we're walking and she sees rabbits, she tries to chase them, but her leash reaches the maximum length and she comes to an abrupt halt. :D One evening a deer ran across the road in front of us and she took off after it. Thank goodness for leashes! |
The three puppies chase their Mommie, Chizzie while Chizzie chases a hard rubber ball with a bell inside. Chattie and Peppy have decided that they are "above" chasing. They would rather just be prresent and admired :) |
Gus will chase any bug that crawls but will run from anything that flies especially June bugs. |
Cats! If you ask Trixie if she want's to "get the cat" she goes nuts and will run after them if you let her and chase them into the storm drain.:rolleyes: She's also an avid fly stalker...which isn't good if there happens to be one in the house and you're trying to sleep.:p |

Inside Maddie loves to chase this pink ball, but outside she loves to chase ants and when they go in the crack between the deck boards its so cute to see the look on her face. Off the subject, but My almost 2 yr old daughter recently just discovered her shadow... Its so funny. She will reach down and try to touch it and cant figure out why it moves when she does...lol |

Ginger loves grasshoppers I am laughing at all the posts to this threads!!! Yesterday, Ginger was scratching on the patio door and when I checked out why, there was a grasshopper on the screen door - looking right at her!!! She was going nuts! So, I opened the glass door and before I could even move the screen to open it, she was jumping at the grasshopper!! Well, when it jumped onto the deck, Ginger was going crazy and could hardly wait for me to get that screen door open, too! Out she went and the antics of her and the grasshopper hopping all over the deck was absolutely hilarious! Ginger actually caught that poor grasshopper and had him between her paws like a cat would do!! She moved one paw just a tiny bit and out hopped the grasshopper and it got to the railings and out to the safety of the yard. Poor Ginger kept trying to find that grasshopper and she sure didn't want to come in when I called her! Now, as soon as someone opens the door to the deck, she is out in a flash and running all over the area that grasshopper had been in!! We will probably have a lot of them as the weather continues in this very hot mode!! I wish I had a video cam!! :) |

I found it at a local Pet Store here in town and just HAD to get it for him...it's sooo cute and I just crack up every time I heard him squeek it because of it's high-pitched little squeeking sound that it makes. Most of the squeekers I've found aren't that high pitched sounding, lol...it's too cute :p |

Her Tail! Mayzie loves chasing her undocked tail. It is absolutely hilarious when she gets really going. She looks like a spinning black donut--that's how fast she goes! LOL she also loves to chase one of her many wiffle balls but not until after she picks it up, throws it and then it has to come to a complete stand still then she balances on 3 legs and runs after it and pounces/attacks. It is quite a process and she does it over and over and over.....:eek: |
Yorkies chasing things Hello again everyone! Right after I posted my other one, my hubby went out to buy Ginger some new toys!! One of the things he got her looks like a mouse, has a sqeaky thing and catnip inside an enclosure that is kept closed with valcro! It said on the packet that it is for pups so I was surprised to find the catnip inside it!! He bought her other things too but this little furry thing is her new fav!!! It is small and she carries it everywhere, throws it up in the air or up on the couch. It is so funny to watch her toss it as she is soooo small - only 4lbs - and then jump up after it!!! What fun we have with our furbabies and it is so much fun to read things in this website!!! I love it!!! :animal-pa |
Bubbles!!!! I bought him a bubble gun and he loves it. But, it's limited. I don't want him getting sick from catching too many soapy bubbles. |

I had a mean ol' yorkie this evening! :D She found a baby rabbit hiding among my mums in her fenced-in yard. I turned around and saw her reach toward something with her mouth. She actually bit it! I didn't know what it was until I saw it running away yelping as though it was injured. I looked down at the brick edging and there was this little tuft of rabbit fur that had a tiny bit of skin attached to it. No wonder the poor little thing was yelping!:rolleyes: |
