I am concerned about Diamond Diamond just does not want to play. I try to get her to play everything. I have bought her toys...I have tried playing hide & seek which sometimes she loves...I have tried to play tug-of-war...So many things Diamond is just not into playing. She will not play she just likes to cuddle. Any games you guys would suggest for her. I really want her to have fun because she is so young. |
I have had to female dogs, and neither liked to play. They just liked to be held and basically left alone. I wouldnt worry much!:p |
My little girl LOVES to play. She'll play fetch and tug-of-war for hours.... The new boy hasn't touched a single toy yet. He could still be getting used to the new home though. Hopefully within the next few days he'll warm up to us and run around the house wreaking havoc with Pixie. Some dogs just don't play though. I've met more than one that just had no interest in any toys or games.... I like that Pixie plays a lot, but I'd like it if she cuddled a lot more too (the only time she cuddles is when sleeping). |
My females are very active and love to play. How old is your little Diamond? In your post you said she was very young -- I have three ten week old puppies -- Chizziewink weaned them naturally and they eat puppy food, drink water, go potty and play like there isn't a tomorrow, and then crash into a puppy pile and sleep. If she hasn't had a good thorough checkup lately, now might be the time to take her to the vet. Is she eating well? |
My female doesnt like to play either. |
Georgie loves to play my nieces Yorkie Oliver could careless and when he does get a toy he doesn't want you involved with his playtime. Dogs have personalities like humans, as long as she is healthy that's all the matters. Meaning she is just laid back not sick that's why she is not playing with toys. Don't wish for her to play too much because then you may have a maniac (I say that very endearing) like Georgie who thinks it's playtime at midnight because he has had a nap:D |
