$1 Target toys.... We were out of town last night, and got to shop at a Target...*gasp* When you walk in the door and they have those dollar bins, there was a little section with summery looking dog toys. We bought our babies a red flower with a rope coming up out of the middle like a stamen. Well, they LOVE it! All three have been fighting over it like crazy! :p After all the things that you buy and drag home for them, only to have them received with an uninterested sniff  , it's fun to finally bring home something they actually PLAY with! :) |
I bought Dezi some toys from Target also ($1.00) and she loves them. She pays no attention to the other toys which I payed more than $1.00. |

We will have to check out the $1 area next time we get to Target for dog stuff!! Thanks for sharing! |
:D I buy all of my toys at target!!! theyr much cheaper than petsmart except for yesterday, i spoiled him a little and bought hiom a loofah dog for 6$ he loves it to death!!! His three favorite toys are: The loofah dog, this hedgehog thing that makes a weird noise, and a target frisbee!!! ...does the yorkie's eyes on the yorkietalk logo scare anybody else? |
I love the dollar stuff at Target...Sadie likes their toys a lot. I haven't been able to find any here in a while, though. But I look every time I go. |
1 Attachment(s) Cooper loves all toys, but he has several of the dollar ones from Target..Charlie Dog and Frodo Frog....all Cooper's toys have names too :D Still one of Coop's fav toys though is the wad of yarn...loves that wad of yarn LOL!!! the Yorkie Dog on the Yorkie Talk logo looks like most of Cooper's pics taken straight on...the glow...and you can't get rid of it either...I have for the most part gotten used to pics like that..but hated them at first, they did look eerie to me. |
toys I have found at the Kmart,Walmart stores in the swimming pool area the squish ball you play with in the pool, they come in small sizes, and even shapes like animals,I have borough them home and all of the little ones play with them. Also they are great to keep clean, just pop in the washing machine and poof there clean.try these out they are great,,,,,,,cathy:p |
It seems like the more expensive the toy, the less Louie likes it. He likes the $1 toys the best! |
Tiffany has a ton of Target $1.00 toys too. She love the red hawaiian frisbee and rope looking thing. |
Around Easter time I bought Jaxon a little green Easter basket for $1 - I swear it was the best buck ever spent. He still plays with it and loves throwing it in the air. |
Yorkie's eyes on the logo LOL Shamrocker! I just noticed that and they are a little bit scary aren't they!! |

That is a great idea. Sophie has one of the balls but I will have to check into the animal shaped ones. They seem to hold up really well too. :) |

This may sound weird, but I buy all my toys from Salvation Army for 25 cents each....soft, tiny stuffed animals that can be washed...my two furbabies love them and the price doesn't break the bank. When they get bored with them, I go buy more. |
I have bought little stuffed animals at yard sales, etc. that do not have things that could be torn off...I wash them and unstitch them and then add a little squeaker....Mojo loves them....course, he loves soft, plush toys!!! |
What a great idea....I never thought of putting squeakers in them. I bought a keychain that was actually a little stuffed animal that everytime it was squeezed it would play, "I'm a Barbie Girl, in a Barbie world, etc"...it plays the whole song ..haha...and everytime I passed it I would push it with my foot....my two Maltese and Yorkie gals would go crazy...lol. (I cut the keychain part off so they could shake it) There are great "used" bargains without paying big prices like at Petsmart or Petco. My girls never play with the toys I buy at the pet stores. |
How smart@ And that Dr. Noz or whatever it is at Pet Smart has a package of squeakers you can buy if you can't find them elsewhere cheaper. Quote:

I did the same! Those bins were overflowing with Xmas stuff... They have clothes, toys, stockings already stuffed with different squeakies, lit up scarfs and reindeer 'hats' and booties and a lot of toys again... Everythig 2.50 $ and that's a bargain in NY!! :) |
