Save your money! I've bought so many toys over the years it is un real. We have things that squeak, fuzzy things, rubber things, chewy things, you name it! Anytime I'm coming from the laundry room with a load of clothes and accidently drop a sock on the floor my yorkies grab it and run for the hills. So I've started taking old socks and tying them together about three at a time with knots going down where each sock is tied. They are loving these homemade toys and have yet to touch any of their other stuff since they've finally got their socks they've always been obsessed with! Now I won't even go into the accidental dropping of the underwear  LOL |
ROTFL!!! I love it!!!! Its so true though!!! Mine found bliss in a roll of Paper towels in the kitchen a couple ofdays ago.... Why hubby thought you could leave an unarmed rool of paper towels on the bottom shelve of the bitcher block is beyond me! The girls made SNOW! Its funny how they pass up the toys and hop right into the box! |
Hmmmm, now that you mention that Daisy does the samething when she finds Savannah's socks that she leaves everywhere... I'll have to get some old ones together for them... Thanks for the idea... :) |
HAHAHAHA. That is so funny, AND TRUE!!! Try putting an empty water bottle in a tube sock and tying a knot at the end! Or even a jingle bell. But underwear, yeah we all understand that's another story, lol. |
it is because of threads like this that i LOVE YT!!! i love that im not the only one's whos yorkie has a foot/sock/panty fetish!!! that sounds like a great idea, i will be sure to try it. lmfaoo!!!!! |
My girls love laundry time, they know that they will get to play with the socks and panties that come out of the dryer! |
Well, I did laundry just the other night and Tiger, getting tired of waiting for a sock or anything to drop, decided to just go hop inside the dryer and helped himself . . .it was hilarious! Too bad I was so unprepared I would have taken a picture . . .am sure it will happen again and if it does will be ready for it! Even when Tiger does silly things, he still makes my day :yorkietal :yorkietal |
Oh, yes! Rebel loves the socks. He's taught London to play tug-of-war with them. Only thing is, they've gone after the good socks now! |
you are so right. my pups love my socks, (not to mention bras and panties) |

Jaxon LOVES 'helping' with the laundry too. Anything he can drag out of the laundry room is a treasure - from socks, to dish cloths, even the dryer sheets! He'll even stand on his back legs and try to pull stuff out as I'm loading or unloading (front loading machines). Even if he's in another room and he hears the dryer open, he'll come running. |
Robbie, you are such a great Yorkie Mom!! You always make sure your kids have FUN!!:D |
Baxter has a laundry basket with folded rugs in it as his post for the sock and underware patrol right by the washer, dryer. Its called our Give IT game. You know you say give it, and he runs like a mad man.:D |
Socks are her favorite too. Every week I'll have to recover 4-5 socks from under the bed. :D |
romeo prefers socks and panties to a sqeeky toy anyday!:) |
LOL...socks must be a yorkie thang. Jazzy loves them too. Well just about any clothing that is dropped on the floor. She loves paper as well. Their was this flyer I had on the fridge with my family reunion info. Well it must've fell on the floor because this morning Jazzy had torn it into tiny pieces in her Xpen. I just looked at her and laughed. She gave me that what you laughing at look. |

Gus used to go after dropped clothes too but after hearing drop it so meny times he now knows better to grab it and run. |
1 Attachment(s) I knew I had this picture, just couldn't find what file it was in. When I sell a pup, not only does he/she come to you pre-spoiled, they are are trained with very important social and agility skills. Here is one of our pups showing off one of his superior skills in training for the paper towel roll-off. He's a shoe-in to win the blue ribbon. :bravo: |
