Well, due to the sharp teeth and determination of Dreama the Toy Monster, :teethysmi I have been on the lookout for toys that are difficult to tear and rip. :dogsm6: I found something cool at Petsmart the other day, and Dreama doesn't play with it so much, but Wosie has chosen it as her favorite toy, and LOVE LOVES LOVES it!! It's called Heave-A-Beaver from Fat Cat Inc! Here's their web site: http://www.fatcatinc.com/html_site/hhome.shtml

Heave-A-Beaver is made from canvas and rope and it's round so you can toss it like a frisbee, hence the name, lol. :p

And here's some pics of the girl in action. She would not even stop playing with it so I could take pictures! :D

Cute, pics. I had one of those but my friends chocolate lab destroyed it in about 2 minutes. :eek:

My boys have one like that...it's called Hurl a Squirrel...they love it! Jo is a pretty serious chewer and he hasn't ruined his yet and he's had it for almost a year. Thank God he's never chewed on anything but his toys! We bought these toys for them at Petsmart but I don't remember who they're made by. Jo's made some dents in the blue jack but he hasn't been able to tear anything apart on either of them...they hold up really well.

OK, so they're only Wosie proof, not lab-proof! :p

Not as indestructible as I thought, then! Dang... must keep it away from Dreama!

I got the one with the ribbons thru it at Petco...the brand name is Pet Stages and they are just great! They are Oscar's favorite toys and almost indestructible.

We bought one of the toys you talked about (the long one that resembles a bone with knots out the ends) and Reggie has a great time chewing on it!
