I just changed his basketball avatar yesterday...and the teapot one today...I've gotta wait a few days or I'm going to run out of ideas, LOL! ;););)

But when I do change it, trust me, you'll love it.

My friends from high school all turned out to be "hippies" but we all shave in appropriate places and use deodorant......and have college degrees and professional jobs...soo.....the term we use to define ourselves is "corporate hippies" :p

But Yippie works too! I'm so going to have to relay that one to my hubby!!! He'll love it. He calls us yuppies all the time and laughs - says the fact that we have a cute little yorkie makes it all the more true.

I didn't realize that you were the one behind all the great avatars. I just thought that I was the only one challenged when it comes to this stuff, and that everybody else got it but me!

I also just read that you do these with Photoshop. I just signed up to take some Photoshop classes this fall.

Since getting Dublin my husband bought me my first digital camera that also makes videos. So I just got Photoshop Elements 3.0 with Premier Elements 1.0 so I can play with both. Since I have trouble with written instructions I can't wait for the classes!

I've used older versions of Elements (I have the original version here if anyone is interested-its from 2001, but does the basics and probably a lot more that I don't know about). The version in between with the sunflower logo is what we use at work. The only thing I really know how to use it for is to view and crop pictures, so I want to learn about layers, editing etc.

Do you think I'll be able to do things in Elements similar to what you do with the regular Photoshop? Do you work with videos as well as images? As I delve deeper into this hobby would you mind if seek your advice? The classes aren't until October, and I can hardly wait!

Oh you'll love taking classes....I'm jealous! I've never taken a class on Photoshop. I've taken an Adobe Premiere class though and that was really neat (but I've forgotten a lot....and it doesn't help with learning photoshop, haha.)

Everything I've learned about Photoshop (and imageready, where the animations are completed) was just my own research and goofing off with the program. But my goofing off has paid off, haha!

You can PM me anytime if you need help! I'm sure with a basics photoshop class you'll get what you need to know about animations - they're REALLY not that hard once you know the basic photoshop tools and have an idea in your head......I love photoshop b/c of that. You can make an idea a reality!

I'll be working on your avatar shortly! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the name Dublin! OMG it's sooo cute. If I had thought of that I may have named Sully that, lol. I'm very proud of my irish heritage (however much there may be left of it in my mix of the world family haha!)
