Cheerios Everyonce in awhile, I will give my babies a couple of cheerios for treats. I have the usual doggie treats, but sometimes I give them the cereal. Is this ok? Or should I stop? |
hey i use to give my guys them all the time its a great snack they cant get them stuck cause they get soft its aok to give them my guys love them thats the nuberone snack to give to babies cause there very heathy there very plain not much in them thats why there safe :D |
i give them to nala every now and then and she loves them!! my mom just can't understand why i would feed her cheerios :p |
That is one of my dogs' daily treats. They have their own box :) My breeder sent me home with some and the dogs love them, even in pieces... |
Well that is great...now I won't feel bad about giving them cheerios, cuz they really love them. And I never run out...it's my favorite cereal. Thanks guys |
Esme gets Cheerios ALL the time! I give her one as a treat for training, and for going potty. Also, I have given her Peanut Butter Captain Crunch and she LOVES those too!!! They are more filling though, so they can't have too many of those in one day. My breeder was the one that recommended the Captain Crunch. |
I use honey nut cherrios as treats and include in my adoption packs... they love them and after a long hard play gives them that extra boost with a bit of sugar... All I have to say is cherrios and they come running:) |
Im gonna get cheerios for him tomarrow but what do you guys think of the lucky charms oats for now? Do you think they would be somewhat healthy for him until I get cheerios just to see if he likes it? |
lucky charms are fine no marshmAllow i would think it would be too much sugar heres a list for people that are gonna look at this good for your puppy CHEERIOS :D PEANUT BUTTER CAPTAIN CRUNCH HONEY NUT CHERRIOS APPLE CINNAMON TOASTED OATS LUCKY CHARMS NOT THE MARSHMALLOWS CAN ANYONE THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE ?? THIS IS A GREAT THREAD |
I was actually thinking about Fruit Loops? Don't they have vitamins? Or do you guys think they would have too much sugar? |
i given my guys one or 2 my guys are also huge i would think its too much sugar |
Also curious about cheerios I read on another thread here I think about cheerios and I was wondering if that is a good treat to give. If so, you can't beat the price and they would be good to travel with and I would feel my hands were cleaner if I couldn't wash them right away than with doggie treats. I was going to read the ingredients, but ours are in a big container, not the box. I would think Fruit Loops would have too much sugar. I don't even like to give them to my little girl very often. |
Fruit Loops I do have the fruit loops box. It says there are 15g sugars in a 1 cup serving. |
I bought Cheerios for Bentley the other day and he loves them! At first he was kinda like whats this and didnt eat em! But now he loves em! I give him 4 everytime he goes in the box! He gets so excited!! |
I have a little baggie of cheerios next to my bed....so that I can get to them whenever I wanted to. Well one day when I got out of the shower, I looked on my bed and there was my oldest Julius...just staring at the bag of cheerios and then looking back me...then looking back at the cheerios and then staring back at me. It was just the cutest thing! He really likes them! :D |
