Play toys vs snuggle toys Seeing a pic of a YTer's furbaby snuggling with his favorite toy just now made me wonder if it's a Yorkie thing to have specific toys that are JUST for bedtime. If these toys accidentally get dragged out during playtime, my pups stop everything and "hide" the at-risk snuggle recipient. They disagree on only one of Piper's toys--a snoring lamb--and she has agreed that Keegan can play with it if he doesn't "kill" it like he does other plush toys. Oddly, last night, she decided that his biggest stuffed bedtime toy needed to be dragged out of his kennel. They quietly chattered about it for fifteen minutes, then he let her bring it out and she covered it with one of their thermal baby blankets.:rolleyes::D Is this a Yorkie thing to have playtime toys and bedtime toys and to even negotiate any change in a toy's status? (Yes, I am obsessively fascinated with this breed--If I'd gotten them when I was younger I wonder if I'd have ever had time for my education in other things!) :nerd: |
Galen doesn't snuggle with toys but he does have a few favorites that he does play with |
Maybe it's just my two, then. The younger one, especially, likes to treat her kennel toys as inanimate litter-mates and sleeps pressed against them. |
This sounds so cute how you described that they discuss their toys lol. Chloe doesn't really sleep with her toys but out of all her toys I noticed she only likes really small toys because she can run with them faster lol. |
