Cleaning pet toys... Hi I'm I've been washing my pups fabric toys in the wash but not adding any detergent or fabric softner. Scared it could be toxic for her to chew. I was just wondering how others clean their pups toys because I'm not sure if I'm getting hers clean enough! Thanks |
I wash ours with unscented Tide. |
I've done that too. I wasnt sure if that was ok or not, so i switched to hot water on the rinse cycle. |
I use All Free & Clear for all my yorkies clothes, blankets and toys. If you are worried about the detergent, you could do an extra rinse to make sure all the detergent is rinsed out! |
Thanks! Never thought of that! |
I use laundry detergent but do an extra rinse and have never had a problem. I wash things frequently too. |
Same here...I toss them in the wash with Persil, and set it for an extra rinse cycle. |
Thanks! I'm going to try the extra rinse cycle! |
I have a small bottle of the baby laundry detergent (dreft) that I use for the toys and beds :) |
Put hard and/or rubber toys in either the dish washer or clothes washer. We don't have many non hard or rubber toys, so I can't help with that. |
Cleaning pet toys... yes, just make sure to keep them clean by washing them regularly, and rinse for a lot of times until there is no detergent smell if you're using one |
