Kong Wobbler Opinions Please!!! Just a questions about the Kong wobbler I've heard so much about. Am I imagining things or is the small size gigantic? I saw one today at Petsmart and was amazed at how big it is. That thing weighs more than my pup. Do they really like something that is that big? |
My 5lb girl loves the Kong Wobbler...and has no problems at all maneuvering that thing all over the living room to get the treats out! She is one very determined girl :D |
So what kind of treats do you use. The hole is pretty big. Her kibble would just fall right out the hole. Maybe that is the point? |
I have one of these and my 5lb baby is still trying to decide if it is safe. I would be interested in what could be put in one of these things besides kibble. |
Well, because my yorkie doesn't get kibble, and actually at 5lbs, she is a bit chunky ...I use organic puffed rice or puffed corn in the wobbler. But because of the way it is shaped and the fact that is weighted at the bottom to encourage the hole to be top, it doesn't really matter that the food comes out rather easily...the wobble itself makes the toy interesting and challenging for the pups. |
Tibbe has one of those that is only about 3 1/2" long, just his size, and he just loves it. Given the equal choice between it and his larger one, he always chooses it first. I got it at Pet Smart or Wal-Mart, which I could remember which but with his tiny mouth, legs and paws, I think he feels he is a bit more in control of a Kong this size. I know he growls and bites it when just playing with it and there is no food in it only and doesn't play with his big Kong at all unless it contains food. |
