Squeaky toys are puppy crack at our house too. |

This is an example of one with squeakers: Walmart.com: Ethical Pet Plush Raccoon Skinneez Dog Toy: Dogs |
You can usually find them under $10 at Ross. I've seen them on a lot of "seen on tv" displays a different stores - Target, RiteAid, CVS, etc. |
This is the same type of toy that drives Brandy crazy. It has no stuffing and a squeaker at the head and at the tail. She pushed it with her nose continuously until I finally took it away. She has other stuffed toys with squeakers, but she can't get them to squeak on her own, so she isn't obsessed with them. |
I sew, I have a very large bag of squeaks. I have one boy who is never without a squeak toy. He even sleeps with one. |
Forgot to say, check out the bin at Goodwill. I find small toys for 50cents. When I do, I buy every last one of them. When they get really yucky I don't feel bad about throwing them out. |
My little Miyagi got a "hot dog monkey" for Christmas, which he loves! It has two squeakers with different pitches that squeak when squeezed AND when released. He loves his squeaky toys so much that he can't go to bed without one by his side. He brings the toy into bed (he sleeps with us), squeaks on it for about 10 seconds just to make sure everything is in good working order, then settles down to sleep. It's so cute! |
