AWESOME! Dogsavers Stick Hey ya'll. Just wanted to share a really awesome toy I just picked up for my Piper. Just went to Ross to scour over their clothing and toys and found this, "Dogsavers Stick." I didn't even realize it was scented until I found the link on the internet, but it's SUPER chewy and really helps Piper's teething. It warns it's for training and not chewing, but she's been at it for a while and there are no punctures of any kind in the toy. I picked it up for $2.99 in the pink/cherry color/flavor. LOVE IT! That warning "not for chewing" is a little disconcerting. What do they hink puppies do with toys? |
I know. I totally don't get that, but I guess it's a legal thing to cover their butts in case a dog chews it up and dies or something. If they say it's for training only, very few dogs could die at the hands of their toy during training...but during chewing? Possibly. Ridiculous I guess. I bought a toy the other day that boasted it's strength and durability. In 15 minutes Piper had eaten away at the plastic. Ummm really? I love the toys that say INDESTRUCTIBLE and then in small print on the back say no toy is indestructible. LOL |
I purchased the bone ones instead of the sticks. Ally loves them. She really doesn't chew on the bone part. She just tries to get the treat out of the middle. As spoiled as she is, she will cry and bring it to us (well, more like throwing it at us), when she can't get any more out! lol |
Ohh didn't know they were scented. So how did the stick stand up to Piper's chewing? |
It's been AWESOME! Seriously best toy ever. She uses it for fetch and for teething :) |
Ally has had her bone one for over a year. I had to search to find more to have one for Tia when we adopted her. Seems to be very strong...but is softer than some of those other chew toys or treat toys. We really like ours also. We have pink, orange, and green. |
