Expensive-est TOY?? What's the MOST expensive toy you've bought for your fur baby? My mom thinks I'm absolutely NUTS. I spoil my fur kids more than my sister spoils her skin kids. Boy my niece and nephew are SPOILED!!! I buy my pups baby toys, handmade toys, I make them toys SO MANY toys. I've been looking into those Nina Ottosson toys but right now (just having graduated and looking for a nursing job) its too much. Any one got any good ideas for what to do with old toys, and where i can find new (maybe even used but new to us) toys? |
I think we spend more on chewy type treats than toys really :) |

I found THE hugest bully stick recently...2 ft long & one the widest end about 4" circumference :D I'll have to look for the pic & post it! |
I don't buy Jackson expensive toys. He just likes a few squeaky tennis balls and a few plush toys, anything that squeaks he likes. He won't play w/ toys by himself. He's got a whole basketfull of toys that barely get touched but most are just from the Dollar Store or were gifts from fam members. I would say the most expensive 'toys' are the Kong's he has. I think it was around $13-$15 for a regular Kong? Bones and chews are another story... I buy his bully's in bulk. Also, I spend a fortune on treats it seems like, lol |
The most expensive toy? Hmmmm... maybe when we spent $1,200 to get Maggie a puppy to play with... ;) |

Hahaha I love that one. I like to say I did the same thing but poor Ella is more of an annoyance to Schmuckles than a toy. LOL Ella's more my toy/dolly. Quote:

Must be nice to have $$$$. Did they get along? I am thinking along those lines but there are so many added expenses plus my dh's schedule and mine would leave the 2 alone too much I am afraid. Sometimes I can take Freeway with me to the office but I doubt if I can take a new puppy. How do you manage? |

Humm... I think $40 on a toy... the bf promised to buy Harley this puppet when we got our co-op jobs for the summer... I make a lot of his toys, he loves these little pillows that I make him, that and all of the beds he has, he enjoys pulling those around with him everywhere. |

We had gotten Maggie (a rescue) to be a companion for Mitzi, my husbands first Yorkie (not dog!) After Mitzi went to the rainbow bridge Maggie was alone and so we got the puppy Mikki. 2 months later we rescued 2 more Yorkies, Maximus and Minnie, and this July we were so lucky to be able to add Mylo to our family. Right, that makes five wonderful and gorgeous Yorkies. They get along just great and since dogs are pack animals it is the natural way of living for them. I'm a stay-at-home Yorkie mom so my 5 fur kidz are never left alone for more than a few hours. Oh... and yes, it's nice to have $$$, especially if the $$$ are well deserved after a long life of hard work :p! |

An Oscar Newman's 'My Agility Set' for indoor training. Worked real well, made of plush... very cute... but mine ran off with most the pieces! Still fun. $50-90.00 depending who you buy from. |
