Twirling? My baby boy and his brother have started twirling when they want something. It's cute, but I'm just wondering where in the world this came from....Just one day we were playing fetch and then they twirled....and it looked rehearsed honestly cause they never do anything so in sync lol. Does anyone else's baby do this on their own? |
My girl Chloe [r.i.p] used to do this when she wanted something. So much so when she did it I would go through a list of things and once I got to what she wanted [usually chicken] she would twirl on that word. I would try to catch her out, but she knew what she wanted and would only twirl on the right word. It was her favourite party trick. |
My Azrael is a major twirler. She does it every meal time. Soon as I'm ready to put their bows down, she starts. Even if she is on one side of the room, she will twirl herself all the way to the other. I should get a movie of her at meal time. Soon as she sits for her meal, she lets out a puff of air. It makes her cheeks puff out when she does it. Have no idea what that's all about. |
Zhoie is a big twirler too. She loves for you to throw her mini-tennis ball, when I lift my hand she twirls several times across the yard. One of her treat tricks is twirling (that's cheating, huh)LOL. When vistors come, going bye-byes....well, heck...she twirls alot. LOL. I've heard it's call the yorkie dance. |
Teddy is a twirler. :) He does it whenever he is excited about something. When he isn't twirling, he trots in circles around me. The twirling and circling are adorable, except when we are trying to get out the door with leashes on. Maximo gets really annoyed and groans at Teddy. |
Pixie is a twirler but none of my others. It is funny to watch. |
Lexi loves to twirl and twirl and twirl. It is so cute to watch her. Sometimes she get going so fast though I worry she will hit her head. I like that quote "they call it the Yorkie Dance" to cute... |
All my girls are twirlers for food, but my two yorkies are leg scratchers for other things. They will go up to you and scratch/dig on your leg if they want to go outside, a toy that has slipped under the couch (well they usually bark for that), want to be picked up, play, etc. I don't mind the scratching, but it doesn't feel good in the summer (no long pants)! |
Ziva's mother twirled to signal she had to "go" Guess Ziva got the lesson wrong because she twirls when she's done! |
Daisy is a twirls at night when it is time for me to go to bed. She wants to come up and snuggle and have a little treat before the lights go out. She is so funny when she does this. |
Aw I wish Poppy would do a little twirly dance for me it sounds so cute :) |
