We found that the nylon chew toys have worked best for us~Tootsie is 5 months old and we have had them since we brought her home. (she's always been a biter)we got ours from Farm & Home Supply but I've seen them at Wal-mart, Petco and Target...The ones we have are different shapes and kinda prickly...Tootsie loves them~it has also helped her to lose all but two of her front teeth!!! So right now she is toothless except for her eye teeth:p:pLOL!!! She looks so cute!!! |
They have this ball at petco its perfect for the teething stage, its about 3.99 |
I have a puppy kong that Sophie loves, even without treats. I also have a chicken flavored non-edible nylabone that she adores. If the nylabone gets rough DH uses the small electric sander to round it back out. We'll definitely have to get another one of those when it gets too small. Also, sophie has a pretty indestructible red soft ball that came off a cat house for our cats. She sometimes chews on it if she wants something softer. |
ok.. my louis loves the puppy kong filled with ANYTHING lol, one advice for u... never ever use anything from nylabone please. right now im going through so much thanks for the stupid nylabone "healthy edible". sorry if im so mean but thats the only way to put it. my louis had one of the edible ones and a piece got stuck in his intestine. im just trying to be helpful, no harm intended. as of right now my puppy is fighting to pass this through his system and if he doesnt on wednesday he has to have surgery :(. by the way, theres a lot of people whose dogs have chewed a piece off from the nylabone plastic toys and these get stuck in their intestine as well but these definately have to be removed through surgery. im just trying to help u out and i recommend the puppy kongs..those are great. |

i was there when louis was chewing it, he didnt even "choke" when he swallowed it :/ so i didnt realize he passed a big piece. there has been many cases everywhere about the rubber and plastic pieces getting stuck in their babies intestines. all im saying is just be careful when u give ur babies something to chew on. here are some stories about nylabone Product Alerts |

Yeah, Sophie can destroy almost anything so we really have to watch her! When she gets older I figure we'll have to get her the xtreme kong so she doesn't destroy it, too! LOL |
No problem, I'm just trying to help. |
Just found this teething toy last night. I am going to order one. I think my little Sophie would like it. Dog toys, teethers and treat pouches. |
