Hello everyone :wavey:
I just wanted to share one of Bella's favorite toys with you. It is an AKC Chipmunk toy that is specifically recommended for Yorkies (due to the fact that they were initially bred to catch small rodents). It is amazingly durable (which is good to know if any of your little ones are strong chewers like Bella:rolleyes:) and it is very life like. I

:thumbup: Thank you , we have the 3 small squirrels and i bet the babies would love this :) we go thru many toys here to, There fav is the loofa babies :)

Glad I could help. I know I'm always trying to find nice new toys for my baby. She goes through them so fast! I think she's part beaver. :yelrotflm

I absolutely love that toy! I got Dymond the rabbit and she takes that thing from room to room all day!!!!

I'll have to try one for Zeke who is a very strong chewer. We have a Publix bag full of his casualities and we have had him for only a year.. Zack on the other hand is still playing with the "squeaky" bone we got him just after adopting them.

I will have to pick one up for Fancy this weekend. I have been looking for toys that she might like. We have only had a her a week and one day so we don't have many toys yet. Thanks for the recommendation!

Thank you for sharing...I just ordered the chipmunk and squirrel and will see how they stand up to the jaws of Lil' Miss Izzie :eek: She always seems to find a way to tear everything apart...

Thanks for sharing, I just ordered the squirrel for Sullie and a (kong or bong) whatever they are called. Maybe this will help keep him entertained while I'm at work. This is my first small dog and these toys are new to me. My lab would never play with toys, only wanted tennis balls to run and catch.

I hope Sullie likes his new toys! :) Bella has a Kong too and she loves it :) I also give her Nylabones and those work well too.

JoJo has the squirrel (a little large for him) and the rabbit. He really likes both of them. I'll have to get the chipmunk too.

I have seen these toys at Target and had thought they were quite realistic looking compared to the cute or wacky looking dog toy animals. I had just never thought about buying one before; but after reading the reviews on AKC's website as well as the recommendation here, I think I'll pick up one for my little furbaby.

Hi, You might want to consider getting the tiny toys like about 3-4" if you are getting a puppy. They have very small mouths and not everything will fit so they might not be able to play with something this big right now. Petsmart has lots of little toys. My baby PIXI just loves her little bitty teddy bear abt. 3" with a replaceable squeaker pocket.. check them out... Good luck with your new furbutt..... sharon
