Can I get some current suggestions about motorized toys Somebody got a hide-a-bee in this GE, so I checked into one of those and found all kinds of other things I'd like to get. There is a wiggly giggly ball, a bumble ball, and a babble ball that I'm looking at getting. Are there others I should look into at the same time? Amazon has a lot of these things on four-for-three, and I'm overwhelmed by all the choices. My dogs love motorized toys. I always buy my toys in stores, so I never realized how many things were out there until I started checking where I could buy a hide-a-bee. Thanks! |
AMAZON has 'Hide-a-Bee' ??? Wow I have to check that out too ... LOL ... everybody talks about it and say it is sooo cute .... I have a 'Hide-a-Heart' at home .... I don't know if a motorized Toy would be alright for mine ... she likes to destroy stuff ..... maybe someone else knows on here .... |
Bella has the Babble ball. I bought the large one so that when she's chasing it around it won't be able to roll under the couch, and because I figured she'd just chew at it and chase it rather than put the whole thing in her mouth. It is LOUD, LOUD, LOUD!!! We save it for entertaining her only when we don't care about being able to hear anything else. She absolutely loves it, though!! Chases it all around, sort of growling at it as she goes....pretty funny to watch. But like I said, it's LOUD! (Doesn't make any sense to me why they have to make it so loud....dogs are supposed to have better hearing than us, yet they make a toy for them that almost hurts my ears!) |
P.S. I'm looking into the wiggly giggly ball, now, so thanks for posting that. I've been looking for something that would wiggle around that she could play with. This might be just the thing! Thanks! |

Unforunately, no. :( I just got home, so I got out a tiny screw driver and opened the only part on it that opens, but alas, all that's inside is the 3 (or maybe it was 4?) watch style batteries that operate it....no buttons on it anywhere. And that includes an on/off switch. What I did, thinking ahead thank goodness, was I kept the little plastic tab that came slid inside a little slot on the front that you have to take out for it to operate. When we've had enough of it, I slide that tab back in its slot and put it up! Don't lose your tab!! ;) She does love it, so I suffer a little while for her every now and again. |
