A new sport...FLY CHASING!
 
I was eating breakfast this morning and Bella was going nuts after something....a fly! she chased that thing around all morning! it was hilarious...i should have gotten a video of this! Needless to say she didnt catch this one.....she has caught them before, but doesnt kill them....eats them alive and then she throws up because they tickle her tummy haha but anyway does anyone elses yorkie fly chase?

I wish Bella chased flies...we have lizards..I find them dead all over my house.
She has a doggy door and brings us presents:rolleyes:

LOL Yes, Buddy does that also.
It's so fun to watch them jump around the house trying to catch the fly.
Buddy almost took a lamp with him one day jumping up on the end table
to get the fly who flew into the screen I caught it in mid air!
I sometimes leave the screen open to the deck hoping he will go out and
get air and they come in then.

I wish Brooklyn would stick to flys...unfortunately she has begun playing chase with bees! uggg...one of these days the darn bees are going to give her something to remember! :eek: I hope not! So far we have been lucky...

Gabby chases flys and catches them too. She also goes bananas when she's chasing them. She spits them back out..Yuk!!! I wish she didn't do that cause flies to me are so disgusting but what can I do.

Jewels is funny. She waits untill they buzz around her head then she opens her mouth and trys to catch them

Max is so funny~ if he's in the house, he's AFRAID of them! He'll run into the bedroom and hide in there if there's a fly out in the family room or kitchen. But if we're out, having dinner on the patio at a restaurant where everyone can see us, he's snapping at all the flies trying to catch them, and when he does, he's like, so PROUD of himself:rolleyes:. Cwazy dog;)

glad to see Bella isnt the only fly chaser! its so funny to see her snap at them in the air!

Dovie is the fly chaser in our house. Her big big sister, Boo the Boxer lives a bit more dangerously. She is a bee/wasp :bee: hunter. She eats her kills so they don't lose their lives in vain. I bet she has eaten :3plate: her weight in the little critters in the past 11 years.

Layla's cousin Sage the Miniature American Eskimo is also a bee/wasp hunter! He will bite, chew, spit out, bit, chew, spit out, and when they finally stop stinging him he'll eat 'em!
Layla, however, is too proper to be bothered with chasing flies lol. People always comment that she acts like such a little lady!

:p I laughed at the title. Meeko chases flies too. He never gets bored jumping around after them. It keeps him quiet and out of trouble for a while though. lol

All 3 of my furkids love to chase flies. Schatzie will catch them, chew them til they're dead then spit them out on the floor!

I hate bugs.totally grosses me out! :thumbdown

Last night., Daisy was in "hunting mode" as a moth had gotten in. It was funny watching her "hunt" until she caught it and ate it!:eek::thumbdown

So gross! Hubby kept praising her and she got a treat so I'm sure this wont be the last time she eats a bug.

Diddy hates flies. They drive him nuts. He will not stop chasing it until he gets it or we get it. When we get the fly swatter out he barks like crazy like he is telling us "no don't touch that fly, it is mine!" :D

Hank does it all the time. It is too funny! i love it
and he loves crikets!
