What do you put in your puppy's kong? I got a puppy kong and it came with a couple treat samples. He thought they were ok. What do you put in your puppy's kong? |
Puppy stuffing, peanut butter! |
I plug the ends with natural balance food roll and then just fill with his normal kibble |
kibble, crumbled treats, then cap the ends with peanut butter, then freeze...its like crack. i tell my dogs they have support groups for dogs like them. |

I buy the kong shaped treats and break them into pieces and stuff them inside, then i will fill the end with either peanut butter or cream cheese. I usually put it in the freezer over night before i give it to Mia....she loves it!!! |
Ziggies Rule Garrett loves the Puppy Ziggies. He's ok with the pastes and treats if he's in the mood, but he really gets going on the Ziggies. They come individually wrapped, so I always keep 2 handy in his carrier.:thumbup::thumbup: |
we fill Layla's with kibble.. and then plug the top using a Yogurt drop. |
I have put so many different things in their kongs. I've used Yorkie Yummies, Cheerios, dried fruit, fresh veggies (cut into small pieces), and peanut butter. The best dried fruit I've found is the kind you can get for toddlers. They are small and my boys LOVE it! |
For my crew, their absolute favorite is chopped up bananas mixed with yogurt, and then frozen. They love it! I've used just about everything in there including cheese, peanut butter, pumpkin, yorkie yummies, treats, etc. but they LOVE the bananas and yogurt mixture the best. |
I put Old Mother Hubbard puppy treats in Maggy Mays kong, she loves those and it keeps her busy. |
Thanks for all the great suggestions! You guys are so creative :). I'm still trying to remember to freeze it for my little guy. Think it would last a lot longer for him. He's such a piggy he can empty an unfrozen one in lightning speed! |
