OK OK OK! There can be cheerleaders but Hallie is Captain because Simon says she has the biggest mouth around :)

And Layla and Annika can be Co-Captains of the girly girl team but they still aren't going to beat the boys. In the words of Simon (translated from some growling and barking):

Sadie wants to sign up for the cheerleading squad. Do we have any idea what the uniforms will look like??? She'd like something with a BIG skirt to make her little skinny butt look bigger!! :p :p

Tell Simon we girls think he is all talk (Layla is trying to be tough but she is really in love with Simon and doesn't want to be mean to him :o ... she sends kisses ;) )

YAY MORGAN!! that's the spirit!! i've had a "talk" with Layla and she has decided that its time to take off the gloves and stop being so nice to the boys (who aren't being nice to the girls!!). She is currently napping but when she wakes up we are goign to practice practice practice :)

Conner (9 pound boy) has been practicing all day. He will have no mercy just because the pink team is all girls (ugh!!!)!

Simon is absolutely not "anti-girl" but since the girls decided they should have their own team his competitive spirit has emerged :)

there's quite a few that have been taken but if you have a number you really want, let me know and I will tell you if it is taken or NOT.

Annika has also agreed to be co-captain with Layla . . . she is very good at retrieving a soccer ball so watch out boys . . . don't be too fooled with her feminine looks . . she is pretty rough deep down :thumbup: She says she wants Jaden to sign up on the boys team so she gets to play rough with him :p :D :D

To Simon, you better get well prepared as the PINK TEAM will fight hard to WIN this game :thumbup: Go PINK :cheer:

Here are Jack's tryout pictures. We couldn't find a regulation plastic ball, so we went with this oversized version to prove he can handle it.

1. Jack, an old pro at the game, licks the ball so he can get it to curve in the air after a big kick.

2. Jack taunts the girls soccer team: "Boys rule!"

3. Jack heads the ball toward the net because he can't always get his mouth around it.
