I feel your pain. You need to alternate hot wet compress then cold wet compress. For a hot wet compress, I use a diaper and get it wet then put it in the microwave. This will stay warm for a while. You can also use a wet towel. Then use ice packs. Heating pads are dry heat and are not good. I have a bad lower back that when I lift wrong it goes out and the pain just kills me. Good Luck to you and I hope this will help. |
Thank you guys so much for all the kind words, sympathy and helpful suggestions. You're the best! |
Hope you feel better soon! Think of the downtime as an investment in your future health!! Maybe you'll be more likely to take it easy that way. |
OH I hope you are feeling better very soon!! |
Get well wishes! Just seeing this thread and wanted to add my wishes for a quick recovery. I know how bad back pain can be. Hope you are feeling well by the time you read this! |

One year for hot compresses, we were given by my aunt a towel that she had sewn up with rice inside. Apparently that microwaves well too. (Not that you'd be in to sewing up rice-towels, but for future reference) Hope that you get to feeling better! Back pains are the worst! |

I am interested in purchasing some bows from you. Please let us know when you are up and running. Wanted to know which of your bows would be good for Niyah. She doesn't have much hair because she only weighs 3 pounds so her hair is thinner. Granted that her former owner kept her in a puppy coat and now is growing out. Maybe once it is long and I need to actually make a knot, it might be thicker. Please let me know what you have for thin hair at the moment. Right now, the ones that I got for her at Petsmart have a small ring to it but it takes a wrapping of 4 times to get it to stay in tight when she shakes her head which is pretty funny because she only does it after I put the bow in. I did try dressed bobby pins and hair clips for a child but she shakes them out in no time. |
Marj: Fergus and i are wishing you speedy recovery! Our new groomer told us today she just LOVES your bows (I brought my box of bows!) and I gave her your web address. He is wearing one today and looks like a little prince! Hope:rolleyes: you are back and "on your tush" in no time! |
Marj, just saw this. Hope you are resting and taking it easy! |
