Teething! Hi everyone, hope someone can give me a bit of advice ... poor little Mollie is teething and has lost two bottom teeth which didn't give her too much trouble but now her two front teeth are begining to grow behind her baby teeth and her gum has swollen and looks very red and sore. Is there something I can rub on her gum to ease the pain? as I wouldn't like to give her any medicine like I would normally do if my springers were sick or in pain! Any help will be very much appreciated .... __________________ |
poor thing... sounds like she is going to have two rows of teeth. Layla had that too and had to have them pulled.... can you wet a washcloth and put it in the freezer for her to chew on??? or a cold carrot or celery stalk.... |
playing tug a war will help them come out and wiggle them. |

Thanks for the advice... I have been trying to get her to use her front teeth, playing or eating, for days but they must be too sore. I checked her teeth today and they do feel a bit loose so here's hoping we won't need the vet. The only problem is she is chewing everyone's fingers.... |
