Pet insurance UK We have been with petplan for several years but just discovered M&S do the same cover for 2/3 of the price and you can have an option with no excess for only a few pence a month more ! They also carry on covering oldies too. |
Julie we also used Pet Plan at one time then got sucked into E&L (don't go down that track) now use M&S for both Noah and William (Will is our Springer) Noah in his short 9months has allready had a claim it would have been 2 but the first they said it was to do with his neutering (he had an infection, and terrible pain afterwards) so it was the weekend vet and a £155 bill for 2 injections and 6 pills which had to be broken in 4 as was so small he is only 5lbs now. In all my adult life i have had my pets insured at first you could only do it with Pet Plan now the RSPCA do it and the Blue Cross, but we found M&S the best then Sainsburys |
When you say M&S do you mean Marks and Sparks? If so, WOW they are branching out a bit! We are with Lloyds TSB and they have been great, especially after madams recent lump removal |
Yes Marks and Spencer I_love_lucy. We looked at Sainsburys but felt M&S offered a more comprehensive policy. |
What sort of cover does it offer? Blimey Im still in shock at M&S doing pet insurance! |
M&S are brill Noah has just had a £90 bill settled in less than 3 weeks no questions asked we pay £10 per month he is insured for life they take dogs of any age, you can pay an excess if you want and pay a lower monthy amount but we find it worked out as coppers, you can do it over the net just go into the Marks and Spencer site and go in to the finace and they guide you through it, it is simple, and i would recommed it, as i said i have tried a few in my time but these are the best, they do per illness not per year wich makes the difference hope this helps you |
Wow thats really good! Ill have a look at that! |
i have mine through halifax -7.50 per month |
Hi there- This is my very first post - so I'm new to all of this. My yorkie is from the RSPCA and I've only had him a few months and what puzzles me is there's so many pet insurance policies around! It's a bit overwhelming! I've looked around for reviews, even asked pet groomers- I've found Marks and Spencers are the best with the highest cover that I know of so far and heard great things about Halifax (from the pet groomers). I'm planning to insure my little pooch (Casper) in the next two weeks- he has such a sensitive digestive system and would rather not take any chances! Marks and Spencers even have their whole policy in PDF form on their website you can instantly download- I questioned them on the phone and they also offer accupuncture and about 6 other alternative medicines- it's quite advanced which surprised me a lot- Accupunture for dogs?! I'd never heard of such a thing! I say Marks and Spencers! Unless anyone shows me about an even better policy! Vikkie & Casper x |
We used Saga as my hubby was 50 when we first had our yorkie they have been excellent as we had nearly £5000 worth of vets bill's in Robbies 4 years with his illness. They paid prompt with no hastle. Sadly I am now eligable to join in my own right hit the 50 mark. |
