UK YORKIES and their owners... Hi. I live in the UK in Worcestershire and I was wondering if there are any other people who live around this area or in the UK. I would like to know if you can tell me of a good place to take them training(obedience training) or if there are any dog parks around the UK.:cheer: |
Hi, I am in Nottinghamshire so not much help to you.Do they have dog parks in this country? I live near Sherwood Forest, one big dog park! |
Oh, that's lovely...I wish I could have a dog park around here. Have fun with your yorkies.Trixie looks so gorgeous but ellie is stunning. |
No one ealse from the UK? |
Yes, I am. But can't help you with facilities in your area I'm afraid as I live on the West Pennine Moors. Most of the small market towns in the area have parks, ordinary parks for everyone to use. Not sure quite what you mean by dog parks. I walk my dogs across the moors. :animal-pa :aimeeyork |

Thank you. I think she's gorgeous too, but then i am biased :) Are there no parks at all in the towns or villages where you live? They all have them up here, even my little village has a small one, though you could walk round it twice in 5 minutes :D Personally, i'm not that keen on taking her in the parks. Lots of people who have big dogs let them gallop about. they come charging up & terrify my poor little old lady :( The owners are friendly enough & usually come out with some remark along the lines of, "Don't worry, he won't bite," but that isn't the point, she's still frightened. So, considering the heart problem she now has, I'd rather not put her through the stress, so we stick to quiet, gentle, short strolls on the paths round here. :aimeeyork :animal-pa :dogzzz: |
