Please meet my girls Pixie is 8yrs old in August shes a little sweetie and loves nothing more than to snore on the sofa and Lilly is my new girl and she was 2 in January she arrived to us very skinny but has started putting on weight now with good food she is adorable and spends the day snoozing on the bed :animal-pa:aimeeyork

She's being fed on James Wellbeloved now was previously being free fed bakers and table scraps :( she's been with us a month now and it took almost 2 weeks to get her to eat properly at meal times but now she's a little piggy :D

Nightmare I bet!! Harry was on Bakers before we got our hands on him....what a load of old rubbish THAT is!!!! :eek:

Love James Wellbeloved, and Royal Canin...so happy she's a little piggy now, saves a lot of worry doesn't it?!!? :)

It sure does as she was ever so skinny so we didn't want to just do the leave food down for 20mins if she didn't eat it nothing until next meal thing so literally sat on the floor and hand fed her but she's now eating out the bowl and having 3 meals :D

Loving the hot weather :cool: we live in Durham so don't get much nice weather so we are enjoying it while its here although haven't been able to get out for walkies really as its just to warm but we have a massive garden so the dogs are just plodding around out there and laying in the shade :D how about you?:)

We did the hand-feeding thingy too....didn't think that would ever end, but fortunately it normally does! :)

Just went to get a few bits of shopping - my car's thermometer said 36 degrees and boy did it feel like it....that's almost 100? :eek: I love the sunshine, but this is actually too much for me!

Bought Harry a little paddling pool last Summer, he wouldn't go near it (I think he thought "oh oh, another bath" :D) so I put the sprinkler on the grass instead, and for some reason he's loving running through it....nutty boy! :D

By the way I LOVE Durham - and Seahouses (?) such a beautiful area of our Country :) Sally + Harry x

I'm at work until 9am tomorrow :( so my partner is at home enjoying the sun with the dogs,I am very jealous :thumbdown

Aww bless Harry that will keep him cool,mine would have the same reaction to a paddling pool I think :yelrotflm

Yes Seahouses not somewhere I have been before but it is lovely around here.I am originally from Essex so it's a major change but I love it :D

Hello thought I would introduce my new addition his name is Oakley and he was a 30th birthday present off of my parents (I knew about him,chose him and put a deposit on him he wasn't a surprise) he is just gorgeous and such a good boy :D Lilly is still doing well,is very nervous of people coming in to my house and spends a lot of time upstairs on our bed but she is just adorable xx

Hope my picture uploads ok I have had a nightmare trying to make it the correct size :thumbdown

Did you get Lilly as a rescue?

I live in the north too, but the other side on the West Pennines. We didn't really get the heat so much here, there's always a wind!

Hello and thanks :) we get a lot of wind here to we was very lucky this summer :thumbup:

Lilly was a private re home,she has had 2 homes previously and the last home she was in got her Nov 2012 bred her and then re homed her before they had even sold the pups :rolleyes: she was petrified of their kids and spent most of her time there getting things thrown at her I think poor baby :(

Oakley is just adorable and has been such a good boy doing most of his business in the garden :littleang

MauiGirl Oakley will be our last little addition as we also have a dachshund cross called Holly so 4 furbabies and we are full :D
