rolling in discusting things ! does anybody elses little daring roll in discusting things , so far today honey as rolled in fox wee and geese poo so as you can imagine she smells horrid and as i write this my husband is bathing her for the second time this week . why do they do it and any ideas on how to stop her doing it |
How cute!! well not so much for you!! I'm glad we don't have fox wee and geese poo around where we live;) Good luck, hopefully you can get some good advice... |
Oh yes! Most of mine do it too. Not helped by the fact that I keep geese, hens & ducks so there's always lots of nice smelly things for them to roll in if they get into their fields :( That's why I TRY to keep them on the flagged part nearest the house unless I'm with them. Even the garden can be fun as some of my little Call Ducks roam that on slug patrol :D xx Meggie |
Boy, I can identify with this! My Bichon, Lacy, rolled in cat poop three times in one week. Talk about smelly and what a big mess. I had to use a towel to pick her up just to get her in the house and into the tub for a bath. If they roll in stuff to disguise their scent, it works!! |
im glad to hear its not just honey , but cat poo boy i bet that was bad ! , how can such little cuties be so discusting xx |
Oh yes, and dogs also love to roll on dead animals. YUCK!! When I was younger, I had an outside dog that liked to chase and kill squirrels ( :( ) and then she would roll all over them. Tammy |
after the hurricane last month I thought we had everything back to order but missed a dead baby bird and our male rolled in the remains I was actually gagging trying to pick him up to bath him...little brat |
Oh yeah my older dog Jess rolls in everything from poop to dead birds and hedgehogs :) |
