anyone from toronto, ontario (yes, thats canada folks) around?! i just moved to toronto, and tyce is ONE now (time...goes by...so fast, i feel like i have a child). he just hit 4.5lbs mark, and i need to get him neutered (and a new vet!). does anyone have experience in toronto with a good vet? suggestions please. |
We used to live in downtown Toronto and I highly recommend Dr. Scott Bainbridge from Queen West Animal Hospital. He was our vet during the first 2 years of my puppy's life until we moved but I might go back to him for this year's annual checkup. I have not neutered my dog yet but I have talked through the neutering process with Dr. Scott Bainbridge and I find him very caring towards pets and doesn't force you to do what you don't want. Also, his clinic automatically practices 3 years rabies vaccine and does not force pet owners to comply with yearly rabbies vaccine. As for prices, they are pricey but in general, vets in Toronto are pricey but they are not over the top. There were other vets in Toronto a lot more pricier. Where in Toronto are you. I use to got to animal clinic on Avenue Road, north of Bloor. They are great but $$$$ Also the woman vet at Annex animal hospital is good. But not good place for boarding (long story...). Now, I go to Brimley-Lawrence animal hospital in Scarborough but since they expend the clinic, their new staff is crap. And the clinic isn't has clean anymore. The Main vet (the one doing the surgery) is great. But one of their new vet look like he don't know to much pass the basic shots. They should of stay small. Thank god they keep there old staff too, So you can get lucky, or you can get a border rude new staff person. It isn't in my neighborhood, but I been going their for 6-7 years. They are cheap and they do tail docking, what is really rare in Toronto. ( I am a breeder so spend a lot on vet). I am staying their for now... Hoping they will change the staff soon... If you need a groomer. :: Welcome to John Andrew Pet Spa & Boutique :: He is great! I got lots of experience with yorkie. Good luck and Welcome to TO |

they have a site. Dundas Euclid Animal Hospital, Veterinary, Pet Vet in Toronto Ontario Canada Good service and decent price. But things i wouldn't go to a vet are for grooming or cutting nails. they rip you off any where you go. just do it your self. I recently went to another vet located on davenport and Ossington. worst service ever. then my brother had to take Charlie to the same place. just to find out that he wasn't register. i was like I DID REGISTER HIM ALREADY DAMN IT!!!. I can't remember the name of the place but is the only one at that intersection. |
